I have seven or eight songs by them.

They're enjoyable to listen to, and I like them, but I wouldn't say they're my favorite band. Just something nice to listen to every now and then.

I think I have two songs by them. Rooftops and something else.

I like that song, but obviously not my favorite band or anything.

I heard one song, Rooftops, and I didn't much care for it at all.

I like em. I have one of their albums and the song that made me get it was Last Train Home. It was one of those songs that made me want to cheer for some reason, must be when you have a group of men singing the chorus together with a lot of vigour that gets that response.

"Last Train Home" is a great song :]]

I have two of their albums: The Fake Sound of Progress, which I believe is one of their first, if not *the* first. The sort of garage, techno sound is a bit hard to get used to, but once you do, it's absolutely amazing. Then there's Start Something, which I also bought because of "Last Train Home". It'll always be one of my favorite albums, and lostprophets *used* to be one of my favorite bands...

until they released the ****cake of Liberation Transmission. When I first heard "Rooftops", I got excited. It was a pretty okay sounding song, and it alerted me to the fact that lostprophets had a new album. But when I heard the rest of the songs, I puked on everything within a 90 mile radius. Compared to their old sound that I grew to know and love, lostprophet's latest album is utter ****. Most of their older fans seem to agree.

This must sound harsh, but after being so accustomed to their older albums and then hearing such a blatant attempt to blend in with the emo-pop-rock-crap scene, I was so disappointed :/. I understand the need to move on to other sounds and styles- in fact, there's a pretty big jump between Fake Sound of Progress and Start Something, but if they really felt the need to change their sound again, I wish they could've at least done something relatively *unique*. They're new songs lack all of the depth and originality of their predecessors, and this saddens me a great deal.

hooray for rants that will most likely not be related to by anyone!

I heard one of their songs on Need for Speed Underground, and I liked it.

Other then that.. I'm not really fond of them.
