What's the best show you've ever been to?

So...what's everyone's favorite show they've been to or best band you've ever seen live? Me, I've been to so many that I can't begin to list them all, but my favorite band I've seen live would have to be Dropkick Murphys

your turn

Best event I ever went to was last year's Global Gathering festival. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had, and I'm already certain to go again this year.

The highlight of it all was seeing Pendulum live. The atmosphere was incredible, and their performance was amazing. I can't wait until I get to see them again.

I've been to one called "Pirate Fest" before

I've been to quite a few gigs/shows/live bands/live artists that i can't begin to list them all, but the best one i've seen live so far is Alice Cooper.

And in June, this could be topped when i go and see Bon Jovi live in Bristol as part of the Lost Highway tour.

Oh sure, I think I much prefer festivals over standard gigs. It's great if it's someone you really want to see, but then a festival can have several acts you're in to. Plus, festivals are generally a lot bigger, contributing to a better atmosphere and nice diversity.

Coming up in May, I'll be off to Gatecrasher, where I'll see The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and Pendulum (again) to name a few. Epic.

ozzy osbourne (with zakk wylde)

The energy level was so astounding I almost fell on my ass when they epically took the stage. if there ever was a time when I believed all the energy garbage from dragonball z was actually real, it was that night. lol

The best show by far was the Cky show back in December 2006. After the show I met the entire band, including my idol Deron Miller, with whom I talked with in the bar for over an hour and a half. I even got his jacket, which I wear everyday. After that, I went to an after party at the bass player (Matt Deis) friends house and got drunk. I woke up the next morning and he bought me coffee lol.

Cky = best show ever.

Now? Exodus. Even if the bands' latest CD's suck, and the vocalist is terrible... it was just such an amazing live experience, and the new songs are MUCH better live. The vocalist sounds much better live as well. Not to mention that Lee Altus pulled me up and stage, and I got to jam with Jack Gibson & Tom Hunting. Then Gary Holt got me in a bear hug and picked me up off the ground.

Best night of my life.

Exodus peaked at "Bonded By Blood"; everything else after that has been so sub-par for a thrash band.
