Soad Like em or Hate em?

System of a Down like them, hate them, if you like what are your favorite song from them.

System of A Down is terrible. I see no redeeming quality with them. Their voices are terrible. And I can't recall the name, but I heard them try a slow song once. HA.

I like their first self-titled album and their 3rd album, "Steal this Album". Toxicity was mediocre, and their two newest albums are absolute trash.

I rarely, if ever, speak ill of a band, and generally there are very few bands that I actually dislike. Generally I like a band, or I have no preference towards them either way. System of a Down is a band I actually cannot stand to listen to. I'd rather listen to anything other than what they produce.

I dont mind some of their older stuff, but I hate their newest album. Mezmerise is their best album.

Revenga and Cigaro.

I voted like them, simply because I have a song or two on my playlist. Really, the only thing I like about them is Serj, because I can't hear the bass, I can't recall any drum beats, and Daron Malakian isn't a particularly good guitarist, though he has his moments.

I at one time had Cigaro, Marmalade, Roulette, Forest, Vicinity of Obscenity, This Cocaine Make Me Feel Like I'm On This Song, and Chic N' Stu.

As I got older, I deleted all but the last two from my playlist. I don't particularly dislike them all of the sudden, but I find myself inexplicably falling out of that particular musical taste. I prefer to listen to things either much heavier or much lighter than SOAD these days. Plus Buckethead.

Serj's new solo work is sounding good so far. I was hoping for a piano song, though.

System of a Down is a mixed bag in my opinion. I love their self-titled album, Toxicity was boring as hell, Steal This Album! was pretty good, while Mezmerize and Hypnotize...Well, we don't talk about those albums, to say the least. I like them when they try to put out a good album, but more than half the time, they sound like utter crap.

I like them, though Toxicity is over-rated but their worst album is Hypnotise without a doubt. Their latest two have both gone with a more produced sound and what I've heard from Elect the Dead isn't all that great.

They were one of the best massively popular nu-metal bands out there. Their newer stuff doesn't do the trick, unfortunately.

They have absolutely zero redeeming qualities. Break their CDs and delete their songs from your hard drives.

I agree, I only like some of their songs,and some I don't like.

Plus they are not the kind of band that has songs that you can listen to over and over again.

System of a Down is rarely original, they have terrible voices, especially in their 'harder' songs...

I'm fond-ish of them. I hated them at first, but after a while I started to turn and I got into their song "Aerials" and then - this took me a while - "Chop Suey". These are the only 2 songs of theirs I've heard though, so I can't really judge now can I? And their guitarist freaks me out.... he has weird eyes that honestly scare me.
