Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Neo! *glomps* It's been a while. You probably don't know who I am, but I remember you. Congrats on TP.
As far as the Trivium song, have you tried iTunes? Or Limewire, if you want to be illegal? One good site you could try is mp3raid.com But that's all I can suggest. Sorry.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Mmm... you're right. I have no clue who you are. Partially because it's been... oh, I dunno...maybe a year or so?
Well iTunes is crap, I can't get LimeWire, and MP3 Raid is like my number one site. Unfortunately, "The Storm" is off the demo album, and therefore is hard to come by. I was extremely lucky to acquire "Sworn". It had a glitch or two but I don't give a crap. As long as it works I'm fine. And I ran outta room to type due to my PSP's space limits. But this is my computer so now I can say I am literally the biggest fan Trivium ever had. My MySpace is Trivium's Shadow! My PSP wallpaper is currently Matt Heafy, the lead singer! I'm OBSESSED!!!! But how can I help it? They have a skill that is revolutionary. They are a SMART metal band. They aren't just the garden variety "*bleep* you! *bleep* life! *bleep* your mom!" kind of stuff. I should stop talking or I'll be here forever. Anyhow... if anyone should find a way, lemme know so I can download it. Maybe someone could E-mail it to me? If that happens, I'll tell them and ONLY them my E-mail address. I get enough um..."adult" spam and I don't need some stupid chain letter spam to go with it. Peace! Oh and TP is good but I think everyone agrees: Nothing they ever make can beat OoT.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Odd, you have almost the exact opposite opinion of Trivium that I have. They're an extremely typical band esspecially with songs like "Bullet to the Head of Trepidation" and "Athem (We are Fire)" especially the later. The only song where why I'd see any one could say that for was "Entrance of the Conflagration" but I'd still have to say that was terribly wrong.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
The entire Crusade album sounded like the biggest ripoff of classic Metallica, which is done really badly, by the way. And their albums before that were all generic metalcore crap (kinda funny, concidering how they claim to hate metalcore).
All in all, they're probably one of my least favorite bands of all time.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
wow i really dont care. Trivium isnt "metalcore" whatever the hell that is. they are thrash metal. and The Crusade symbolized how they were able to go in a new direction. they're Metallica-like because Metallica influenced them.
now, can we get back on topic? the song i need!

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Why dont you just buy the cd if you love the band so much.
Also, calling Trivium thrash metal is a horrible insult to the genre. Their pretty much the first band ever to beat Metallica at the s***tiest thrash band title. After all, the only thing worse than being a awful band is being a poor ripoff of an awful band. |

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Okay. So what if the vocals sound similar to that of in Metallica's songs? Saying they suck and they're a rip-off is just giving them free publicity, and you're being stupid. If you receive 'fun' or cure boredom by saying a band's vocalist sounds like another band's, your life must be pretty damn silly.
To the point of the topic: I'd recommend trying eBay or some other auction site, because if it's a rare demo CD, those things go on auction sites. However, you'll need alot of cash - think of rare CD's as antiques, only different and less pricy. |

![]() Also, I should amend my previous post as I over-looked the fact that the song is off a demo, so it will be hard to find. I would recommend using bittorrent or Phex if you plan on downloading it. |

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Soulseek could work as well.
However, back to my debate: Quote:
Although Metallica may suck balls now, their first 4 albums were all great, even though they were a lot more progressive on MOP & ...AJFA then your standard thrash band. Trivium didn't change at all, they're just trying to gain a more mainstream appeal by copying metal's most popular band of all time.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Wow, your music taste is almost as bad as your attitude.
Almost. DragonForce are no where near Thrash. They are wannabe Power Metal, with hints of wankery in between and lame ass riffs all over the place. And they can't sing for ****. And Sepultura? Had a few decent things, but damn, combining them with that mix of music you call "good"? Laughable.

Re: help me- Trivium song desperately needed!
Sepultura was good until Max Cavalera left; Chaos A.D was kinda disappointing, and Roots only had a few decent songs, but their Death metal & Thrash metal stuff is amazing.
Dragonforce... like they've been called many times, more like Studioforce. Sure, Herman Li and Sam Totman or whatever his last name is can shred, albeit badly. However, especially on their latest album, they used WAY too many effects pedals. Plus, they're just so... bland. I'll stick to real Power Metal. Fear Factory... LOL. I have nothing more for this band, other than a barrel of laughs.
