Maroon 5

Do you like Maroon 5? Personaly think that they are one of the coolest bands ever. There lyrics are so meaningful and at the same time you can dance to their music. I just like them so much! Who else likes Maroon 5?

Maroon 5 sucks pretty much. But a lot of peole I know like it. There are some songs that I think are okay, but for the most part their stupid synthesized vocals and whatnot force me to back away in disgust whenever I look upon the cover of "Songs About Jane".

Yup pretty much what you said. Their whole album is too clean and synthesised, the lyrics are not at all meaningful (how about they try and sing about something other than love?) and they don't really bring anything new to the table. I thought Harder To Breathe was about Global Industrialisation, so I used to like it, but then I learnt it...wasn't.

Eh... I don't really get into their music to be honest. They're ok I guess. I wouldn't say that I hate them.. but I don't love them either. My sister loves them and so I've quite a bit of their music. Nah, not my thing.

I try to like any band that people get hyped about or just throw in my face. I don't have a bias for certain types of music(hell, I listen to emo bands) nor am a guy who thinks every mainstream artist sucks because a supposed "sell outness" to them. So to make something out of yourself, you gotta remain unpopular or have a cult fanbase? But honestly, it's just something I don't like that about Maroon 5 I can't quite put my finger on. Although I've only listened to a few of the tracks, the lyrical composition is kind of limited. Love is a great concept, but you can only well, do so much word-wise in one album, I suppose. I feel that they're kind of generic-- but not so regular at the same time. I don't know, really. I don't hate it simply because it dosen't carry great lyrics-- I think that's kind of silly, but well, it's just not very interesting music for me.

I liked the song "This Love" when it first hit it big, but thats the only song they've ever done that I like. I always found it sorta funny how the album came out in like 2000 but they only made it big in 2004. Not everyday something like that happens.

"This Love" was overplayed wherever I went, and it became on of the most annoying songs ever. I'd suppose the only song I like at all would be "Sunday Morning".

Hahaha! LOLOLOLOL...I'm sorry...*wipes away tears* If their music is meaningful, Manson must be a goddamn philospher! Dance to them? Great for you. Sunday Morning was a good song, but got old...damn fast. The band is very generic...if you're looking for a better band that is basically the same, try Savage Garden.

I like Maroon 5. I like tha whole Songs about Jane CD. I thought it was really good. One of my favorite songs is 'This Love' and 'Sunday Morning.'

Another crappy over comercialized way for a record label to make some money.

All Maroon 5 is, Is a "Rock" version of N'sync and whatever crappy boy band that I'm not thinking of.
