Yeah they are good, even better when Flea and John work with The Mars Volta.

I'm a huge fan of the Chillis. I prefer their newer stuff (Californication, By the Way) then the old stuff, but it's all good really.

John Frusciante is definitely one amazing guitarist, if you've ever heard any of his work.

One of my favorite bands. I don't like their newest or oldest stuff, but everything else is great. Californication and One Hot Minute, mainly. And I adore Under the Bridge, even though it's the second most overplayed song of the 90s.

Meh. This is one of those bands I listen to and think "...how do other people like this?" I mean, I hear the rythm, I hear the voice, and I understand the pattern and timing, but it's not listenable music. It's more respectable music. It's just so horribly dull sounding, I can't see how you just listen to it when your on the comp or whatever. I can respect the talent behind it and such, but that's all. I can't really listen to it.

If you're a bass player, and you've ever listened to any of Flea's stuff, you'll be blown away. Californication is absolutly perfect, by the way has a nice slap rhythm to it..but the one song that will make you pass out is Aeroplane. The slapping/playing/notes/rhythms/music in general, is so great... there's just no way to put that bassline into words.
