Is Will Smith really back???

Sure, he says he's back in his new album "Lost and Found" but is he really. I kinda liked the songs after I got used to his new style. It just seams like to me that he is starting to be everything that he preached about not being. I don't know I think that we will be able to tell if he's back with his next CD release.

Yeah. I'm going to have to go with Serano down there. I doubt he had too great of a career outside of acting anyway. Actor turned artists always have a degree of well... skepticism in it? At least for me.

Launching a Rap Career? He has been in the Rap Business. Fresh Prince was his Alias as a rapper, then he changed it to his real name. I remember a while back, in one of songs that he says something about why the other rappers have to cuss and talk about getting money and all that. Though, I haven't really heard songs from his new album, so I don't know if he still follows his own ''philosophy'' so to say.

In any case, he's a jerk. He used the Live 8 concert to pimp his new album, for God's sakes. Even Mötley Crüe isn't that low.

Will Smith is what I would call....um.....bad. His song "Switch" was annoying and can't compare with any other rap out there. I liked listening to his music a loooooooooong time ago when I was very young, but that's just because I thought he was 'super duper cool'. I hope his regained love for music slowly fizzles away.

I like him and his music. I don't purchase his music in any way, though I've always liked him and his songs. The Miami song was great.

I used to like him, before I learned what good music was.

He's a better actor than he is a musician. I'll leave it at that.

Yeah I agree, I only really listened to him when I was few years younger. I really like his acting though, and most of the movies he has done.

Must be happy not to be a US citizen then. I heard he is going to run for the spot of the US President in a few years.

It's amazing how he can be so popular in the 80s' and then come back in this decade. I can't stand him either.

I have only ever heard Switch by Will Smith, but in my opinion he should stay with acting, he is better at it, but thats just my opinion. He is a better actor than a rapper. When you hear Will Smith rap, you just can't help thinking of him as an actor in movies and stuff, you know, his music is ok. its just kinda hard to see him as a rapper.. He is an amazing actor but i am not a big fan of his music.

Meh, I don't like him that much. I don't like actors that decide to become musicians, while acting. If that makes any sense, it's kindof like Linsay Lohan or Hillary Duff. Now Will Smith doesn't suck (literally) as much as they do, but you get the picture.

Does anyone realise that Will Smith has been a musician almost as long as he has been acting? You guys talk as if he recently became an artist.
