Metallica

Metallica has been my favorite band for a year and a half now, and I love them. What do you think of the greatest band ever.

Re: Metallica

I'm not into that kind of music to be honest, but I do love some songs from Metallica. I liked their Black Album and absolutely loved Nothing Else Matters. It's weird, cause I'm a hip hop/RnB girl but... I do have a thing for Metallica- they're pretty cool.

Re: Metallica

The Black Album was good, but I liked Reload more myself. Sadly, I lost it.

No Leaf Clover = Their best song. Period.

Re: Metallica

I think they were good from 1983 - 1991. I don't care much for their stuff after "The Black Album".

Re: Metallica

Metallica just isnt my cup of tea. The old stuff is good, but Their newer stuff seems pretty overplayed and overrated.

Re: Metallica

I think ST. ANger was there best. Pewople say it sucks, but it kicked ass.

The first 6 songs were good on it, and the last 2 were great as well

Re: Metallica

Metallica are good. Their first four albums are some of the best thrash metal albums ever, and songs like Master of Puppets and One are just plain awesome. However, they're incredibly overrated; to see people calling them the best metal band of all time makes my head hurt. It's too bad their newer stuff has been so mediocre, to put things lightly.

OMG METALLICA ROX MY SOX OFF.

No seriously, Mettalica is an ok band. I agree with Sear though, they were awsome at first but now their new stuff is bad. Persoanly, I think Metallica went downhill after 'Nothing Else Matters'

It wouldn't be a perfect Christmas for Mirren if he didn't continuously listen to "Carol of the Bells"

Re: Metallica

I really like early Metallica, before the Black Album. I only like a few select songs after that, and they pissed me off so much with St. Anger.

Re: Metallica

Metallica are a very sub-par band, even their first four ... err anything aside from Kill Em All, was only decent.

Re: Metallica

Circa 1983 to 1991, I dug that material.

The rest, eh, not so much. Especially St. Anger. I personally thought it was a pile of feces.

Re: Metallica

They should've just made 'Saint Anger' unmixed, then that way. It sounds (even though it cost a lot of money) low budgit. I hate low quality. I'm going to have to admit that.

"Master of Puppets" and, "...And Justice for all" for anyone who likes the genre. 'Load' is just plain suck. The rest is all good. 'Saint anger' is a great album, but I wish it was mixed normally (the only time normal, and I don't hate each other). ''The Unnamed Feeling" is probably the greatest song ever.

Re: Metallica

I have no idea what they did with St. Anger. The production is absolutely awful...like someone messed around with the sliders the day before finalising the album without anyone noticing. Trash can drums and mud guitars are not fun. I've heard first-generation black metal albums that sound better. But even without the poor production, the album is still ****ty. They remove every semblance of guitar solos or even leads, and the songs are way too long than they should be. I'll admit some of the riffs are kind of cool, but that's about it. I don't want to listen to an album full of eight-minute songs that use about three riffs in total.

Re: Metallica

Ah, Metallica, truly, a legendary band.

Probably one of the most popular bands today, that has been popular for a pretty long time.

Re: Metallica

Metallica's an okay band. I don't listen to them very often. I know some guys that listen to Metallica a lot though. I know someone on ZU that likes them a lot, too.

My favorite song from them is "Never Been." I think that's the name of that song. I just like the lyrics of that song. I think I like some other stuff from them. I just can't remember all of it though.
