Favorite rapper? Or group of rappers?

My favorite is probably I.C.P. not many people have heard of them but their good.

Insane Clown Posse isn't really a rap group in the traditional sense; they're more like rap-rock, similar to something like Limp Bizkit.

Can't say I'm a fan of either, and I don't listen to rap at all, but I just wanted to point that out.

^Yeah, most Zelda fans don't listen to rap. But I'm not most. I like Eminem, 50 Cent, Tupac, D12 to name a few.

I'd go for P. Diddy, Mase and Kanye West. Three of the best rappers to date for me. Each can make some great songs with great beats.

I can listen to Kanye West. He's the only one with originality and creativity in his songs. Everyone else is just another stereo-typical 'rapper'.

I havve no fav, but I like Ludacris, Mike Jones, and the Ying Yang Twins.

I started getting more into rap after I got to liking Eminem, but his newest CD is somewhat of a dissapointment, so he dropped on the list. D12 was a group I liked, and still enjoy to an extent. I'm also a fan of Ludacris, Kanye West, DMC, and I just borrowed the new Common CD from a friend and am impressed by it. I also like to listen to Lil' Jon and the East Side Boyz if I'm in the right mood. Crunk music makes me laugh.

I respect rap as form of music but I can't say I say I like the majority of it. Eminem and MC Hammer are pretty good for me. If anything, I think old skool rap is fine with me.

Old School is the best, but I've got a few modern rappers:
Jay Z
Ying Yang Twins
DMX
Mike Jones
Outkast

Mmm...I think Outcast is okay. Gorillaz are pretty good too, but I they are more like pop/rap or something like that.

No seriosuly, I have a few favortie I like. I like Run DMC, LL Cool J and, Sir MixaLot. These rap artists are of course, 80's and are therfore, awsome.

I also like Public Enemy, De La Soul, Run DMC, some of LL's old stuff... my favourtie contemporary rapper would be Kanye West. A friend at ZU recommended Nas, so I'm gonna check him out too... oh, and I like Outkast too...

I keep editing this cause I keep forgetting artists: I love Naughty By Nature, and some stuff from Jay Z. There are others!! Remember, dammit!!!... Oh and the Notorious BIG (I love Big Poppa- great song to dance to...) NWA's old stuff... Some of Dre's old music, and some of Snoops too...

80's rap was good rap. Rap in the 90's was pretty good too. When it all comes down to it I hate all rap though nowadays. Specifically rap where people "chill wit' der' hoes" and try to be the best pimp this side of 8 Mile.

Ahh, the musical phenomenon called Gangsta' rap... yeah, I hate it too. I'm more of a hip-hop fan than a rap fan, so no ICP for me, I think their rather dumb in my opinion.

Finally somebody makes a thread on rap. My favorite Rapper is Eminem, and Just Lose IT is my favorite rap. 50Cent is also really good, I love Disco Inferno. <--Both classics.

Dr. Dre is ok, Lil John rocks, The East Side boys are also fairly good.
