Best music genre/ artist

Wich is the best artist or wich music do you like the most. I myself love heavy metal and punk.
I know that there can be big differences between the artists mentioned on the same answer but go for the Genre instead then.

Are you asking specifically from the artists and genres given?

Look at it as both. If you like Eminem for instance then choose him. But if you like Eminem and RnB/ HipHop but not 50 cent then you can still choose that alternative. If you like one artist in the genre you don't have to choose that, then you can just choose a different genre instead. If it gets to complicated just don't vote at all ;-)

What if I like hip hop, but hate eminem and 50 cent? I don't, I actually sorta like eminem, but my point remains. If it were up to me, the hip hop section would have Lupe, Kanye, and Hov. Then again, I wouldn't make a poll where you choose genres and artists at the same time. Very confusing.

Rock, probably, and all it's glorious forms.. Actually, not all of them. Also, I like alot of folk, heavy metal and classical music.

I'm still not really sure if this thread has enough focus to stay open. It just seems to be asking too much, or too little. I have to go to work, so I'll leave this for now, I guess, and decide when I get back.

If Iron Maiden is on the list then you definately know that I'm picking that category.

I guess i'll just pick from whats up there. So, metal gets it with Metallica.

Im sorry but very few of the poll choices can be considered the best of those genres. Even the general rock and roll which should have been the Beatles.

I always thought of the Beatles more as pop than rock, really.

Honestly though, having a "best music" thread is rediculus. What is best is completely subjective to each person.

Metal, although not your garden variety classic heavy stuff (and certainly not Maiden or Metallica as far as favourite bands go).

Oh, and Guns 'N' Roses isn't a metal band.

i'm really glad Korn isn't on the nu-metal option, i would have tp pick that if it was, i generally hate nu-metal. so, standard heavy metal for me, i love Maiden, metallica is OK.
