I've yet to hear a good screamo band, perhaps you can finally show me one. Have any good links?

I like my bands obscure, so no links. If you know where to look there is a huge link dump in a certain part of cyberspace that is still very much active.

I am not obligated to prove a thing to you. Yes, these bands exist, and yes there is a huge file dump for a good number of the bands I listen to.

The Tea Party is quite good. I havent really heard a lot from them but what i have heard is pretty decent to downright good.

Yes, I'm pretentious for refusing to entertain somebody who is already insulting my music tastes just after the first post I made in this thread. I could provide you with good screamo bands, but what would that prove?

And for the record, I am very pretentious. In fact, it's my favorite word since it is applied to me with unusual consistency.

everyone here needs to really listen to every song by Deathstars.

Everything In Transit is an awesome album. It is one of those records that just grabbed me from the first listen. Should definitely check them out.

As far as Lady Gaga, I've only heard her singles, and all of them suck. On the other hand I've seen that she's actually pretty good at piano, but then again, don't know how much that factors into the rest of her work, I'm guessing it doesn't.

She was a songwriter for others before she starting putting out her own material, so her piano playing probably has something to do with her output, whether that is how she starts out writing songs or what I don't know. Her pop sensibilities are off the charts, though.

I dunno if it qualifies as screamo, but the Fall of Troy Phantom on the Horizen album is sheer brilliance. Granted, I think they are more progressive than hardcore, but if you have an open mind and a diverse taste in music, it's worth at least one listen.

My friend, who listened to pretty much only Bob Dylan and the White Stripes for the longest time, painted to this album for hours on end. Needless to say, it should get you hook line and sinker

For me the only redeemable quality to seeing them live was the "FML" look Pete's security guard had when he had to pick him up from the crowd. I actually felt kinda bad for him, lol.

I got a really cool Kid Cudi shirt yesterday and I just thought about it, I think he's going to really blow up with the release of his first album. I really think he will....then i wont be the only person with a kid cudi shirt ....oh wait....I DONT' CARE!
