what do you think of acdc

I liked them when I was younger. It was just a phaze yough, and I grew out of it. They're great, I just don't really like them.

They're okay. One of the most overrated bands in the history of bands in my opinion, though. Anyhow, I used to love them but my problem with them now is that all of their songs sound the same.

I think that it's pretty impressive that a band can remain famous for so many decades, when as far as I can tell they are pretty much releasing the same song over and over again with little variations and alterations made to it.

I third this.
The guitarist is the only one in the band that is very talented in my opinion, but it does sound very repetitive...

Used to enjoy them. They're solid musicians and songwriters, but I can't stand them for longer than a song or two at a time, once every few months. I'm surprised they haven't gone insane playing the same repetitive stuff over and over.

Stupid bull**** that dumbass teens and rednecks listen too. They're a pretty talentless band.

One of my favorite bands. They found a sound that the majority of people enjoyed, hence why they're still putting out albums.

And sort of related news, Highway to Hell hit the 30 year mark two days ago.

One of my favorites but highly overrated.

Pretty cool lyrics. But apart from that I got over Alternating Current/Direct Current many years ago.

AC/DC? If I wanted to listen to Animal glory about rock and roll while essentially masturbating in the recording studio, I'd listen to Animal glory about rock and roll while literally masturbating in the recording studio

Anyone who says everything AC/DC does sounds the same obviously has not heard much of their material.

AC/DC are one of the best bands ever IMO. Oh and Powerage ****ing destroys Back in Black, that is correct. Back in Black is like, one of their worst albums as far as I'm concerned.

How the **** can you say something like that? The music they play is simple, yes, but it's the way they pull it off that makes them so great. Take Phil Rudd for example, he plays the same beat. Every song. It's a simple kick/snare/hihat beat that anyone could play. However, if you listen to how he accentuates certain bits and plays a bit behind the beat to add more power to the song, it's really cool. Listen to anyone else play the same beat, and it sounds flat and snooze-inducing.

Playing complex music does not mean you are talented, it just means you can play complex music. And the ability to do that isn't worth **** if you still don't lock in with the musicians you're playing with. AC/DC probably are one of the tightest bands ever, the chemistry between the members is unreal.

I agree with Forte, they are very overrated, and over played. They still a very good though.
