Metallica is very overrated but, I only like their first four album's black album sucked. I still think Anthrax and Megadeth are not that overrated.

slayer is about overrated worst by the people who listen to it. Sure you have scores of metallica fanboys but few people who listen to more thrash than metallica are still raving metallica fanboys. With slayer however....

anyway there are loads of thrash bands thatreleased material that is on a equal level to the best releases of the big 4 but just aint that well known.

Anthrax > Slayer > Megadeth > Metallica...I'm nto a massive fan of thrash, but Antrhax is the most fun and doesn't take itself too seriously (I'm basing this mainly of the "big four" thrash albums - reign in blood, master of puppets, peace sells... and amogn the living) - Metallica are ok, btu their fans are insufferable for the most part, and theyre onyl above average. Megadeth is like Metallica but more thrash - reign in bloo'ds two decent tracks (you know what oens i mean) are the best thign I've heard from any of these bands, btu the rest of the album is pretty average, and Anthrax are the only ones who are fun really.

They were alright.

Old Metallica (Kill 'em All through the Black Album) and Megadeth kick ****ing ass; two of my favorite bands. Slayer's pretty good, but I don't care for Anthrax much.
