Concert Thread, Summer 2009!

Hey folks!
I figured there's a lot of concerts in the summer time, and so there ought to bea thread for them. So are there any concerts you've seen so far, are planning on seeing, or want to see? Talk about it here!


I'm going to see Opeth tomorrow... IN A HEARSE!

I'm also planning on checking out Steely Dan in Chicago this summer, just waiting on a date and ticket info. I'm there!

You know i dont know what shows im gonna do this Summer. I know i plan to see Obituary in September but other than that i dont know yet.

Green Day is playing in Seattle in early July, and I'm thinking about going to see them. We'll see.

I'm probably not going to any concerts this summer. Hopefully nothing good comes by.

a KORN concert

IIRC, nolan works at a concert hall/colesseum/some form of venue.

Yeah, I get paid to go to those shows. It's my job.

It's kind of bad because I start to whine about things I have no right to whine about. Like, how I am bummed that my venue got cheated out of the No Doubt/Paramore show because those Air Canada Centre bastards got all tricky with their closure dates.

But I really shouldn't complain because I get to see all sorts of other awesome shows.

If Tool comes around again I may see them too.

Of course, there will be any number of lesser concerts this summer since I work for a radio station. but it's a small station, so probably no real big shows.

My brother's gonna go watch Relient K in Tampa.
We're both trying to get tickets to Paramore but the only thing we can find are nosebleed tickets.
