Re: Listen to only ONE band the rest of your life.
The Who, or Wilco. But that's just the bands that I've been listening alot to recently. I jump from band to band about once every two days.

Ouch, this is really harsh. First to come to mind is Neil Young or Koji Kondo. Thinking a little more, Pink Floyd or possibly, Iron Maiden. I can't do this, I already listed four. Gah!

Even though AFI is my favorite band, I'd probably end up choosing David Bowie because of his excellent songs and amount of genres he covers. I haven't gotten bored of any of his songs yet, much like I have with other musicians.

I love Muse, and find them endlessly listenable, but I don't think their discography is big enough to sustain me for that long.

And uh, either Moonsorrow or Vintersorg. Vintersorg tends to be the more listenable of the two, though, because it requires slightly less patience and has a bit more variety to it, even if the music itself isn't quite as impressive. I find it very difficult to get too bored of either, though, despite the fact that they only have about five albums each. |

Kid Rock. He's not even close to my favorite artist, but he has such variety that no one else has.

Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, or The Who. None of those even make it onto my list of even top-ten favorite bands, but I do enjoy listening to them, and I'd like to familiarize myself with them more, and they all have lots of songs, lots of subject matter, and lots of variety. Granted, after a few years you'd still be bored to tears, but those are the ones I would choose.

I think I could listen to Streetlight Manifesto for the rest of my life. But they would need to release one or two more albums so that I'll consider it.

Oh, I do. There's nothing I love more than a good male, falsetto, kind of nasally voice.

For me it'd have to be either Bowie, Dire Straits or Talking Heads. I love them all and wouldn't really be able to pick just one :<

I don't honestly think I could survive on just one band. Asking far too much from me. :P

I would pick the Beatles, or Led Zeppelin, but they aren't really getting any new music, so Radiohead. Thom Yorke in particular, because I know he will do solo music if they break up.

Amen to that. My friend asked me to download some music for her. And of course I said I would, but then she said she wanted Muse. Obviously, i'm not going to tell her no, but on the inside I was very sad.
