Favourite Albums/Album Recommendations

Yeah that was it. But I guess you have to be into religion to fully appreciate them. The girl who recommended it to me was a religious freak.

Not really. I'm not Christian, nor am I particularly religious, and yet they are one of my favourite bands.

Well they're certainly niche. I have that album on my iPod and I don't think I listened to it outside of January 1979 more than twice.

I'd say I'm on the fence- but I'd have to hear more. I think musically they're sound, but his voice just abrades my ears.

"Feels" -- Animal Collective
Hm. Psychedelic experimental stuff. Avey Tare's voice kind of reminds me of Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT. Maybe I'm just crazy though?

Have you heard Strawberry Jam? By far my favorite AnCo album, it's ridiculously passionate. "Fireworks" is a contender for one of my favorite songs of all time. "Peacebone" and "For Reverend Green" are quite good as well.

I enjoy Deathcult Armageddon by Dimmu Borgir, definitely worth a listen if you are a metal head.

I am a metal but I don't really care for them, black metal really isn't my thing. They're music is good but I just can't seem to get into the vocals.

Its not that I just can't find myself liking the vocals to much, kinda of hard to explain. Have you ever herd of Dir En Grey, They scream and I like them and my Favorite metal band 3 Inches of Blood has dual vocals. Here are some songs.
