Sonic Adventure 2 Battle OST - My Sweet Passion.

Until I come to my senses, this is officially the greatest song ever.

"Icarus' Lament (Don't Look Down)" by Jason Wilson & Tabarruk. Jason Wilson has been my TA at university for three different classes over three different semesters, and I got two of his records at the end of last semester. I dig them quite a bit, they're a mix of what he calls progressive reggae with some jazz influences. This song tends to get stuck in my head a lot.

"Conviction Notice" by Less Than Jake. Just when you think the pop-punk heaven "na-na-na-na" chorus is the best, Roger absolutely kills the bridge with an amazing vocal performance coupled with Vinnie's awesome lyrics: "Money can't buy happiness / but it sure can pay the rent," and "Mixing pride and dollar signs is / easier said than done." Easily one of my favourite tracks on the new record.

Great band. Totally underrated.

Today, I found out 2 new songs, which I'm obsessed with at this moment.

Let Down- Radiohead I broke into tears the second time I heard it. It's the music and the arrangement... I really love this song. That tune at the beginning just gets into me XD

The Canyon Behind Me- Dredg The reason I may love this song is because it's somehow "Radiohead-ish" XP. But it just gives me little happy and sad moments at the same time. It's so beautiful.

I got Guitar Hero: Aerosmith so I've been listening to alot of Aerosmith music obviously. But my favorite song by them is "Dream On". Why did I choose one that's so... obvious? Because I just like the whole sound of it - the lyrics and they way they are sung. Other favorites include "Make It" and "Amazing".

"You Only Live Once" by The Strokes.

Possibly one of my favorite songs ever.

Inside the Fire by Disturbed. I have my personal reasons, which I'll save all of you the grief of listening to but I like the guitar part and the solo a lot.

Now I'm obsessed with the acoustic version of Cassie by flyleaf. I usually listen to harder songs more but for some reason i cant stop listening to this song.

Something in the lyrics and sound(duh), rhythm at parts is good.

I'm pretty obsessed with Shy FX's On The Run. Lively, energetic, and catchy as hell. I heard/saw it live a couple of months ago and nearly exploded.

So under Raunm's reccomendation I picked up The Starting Line's last album, Direction. I listened to it today and it is pretty solid. It's got the stylings of late 90s early 2000s pop-punk, but with that more mature edge to it. And while Howard Benson's production failed to work for Less Than Jake, it sure as hell worked for these guys.

Anyway, "Island," the lead single, is a great catchy pop-punk tune. It'll be bouncing around my head for awhile I can bet.

Pagliaro - What The Hell I Got (1975)

Great, great pop artist. Its a shame this guy never made it big in the states.
