In reference to Avenged Sevenfold, no no they're not leaning away from metal, infact it was with City of Evil that they released their first metal album anyways.

ehhmm...if the cowboys from hell cant be beaten, how come pantera's on 2 and avenged sevenfold on 1? :S

The reason is obvious, bad taste in metal (if not music as a whole.)

well his taste dont realy concern me, to each their own, but the fact that he technically implies that nothing can beat pantera, but still puts it on 2 is what i find curious

I really don't see how anyone can put Soulfly on a list without it being underneath Sepultura. Sepultura (with Max, of course) kicks Soulfly's ass about 1000000 times over.

Well, I listen to Sonata Arctica, COB, and, well, Stratovarius, too. (Go, Finland, go!). My "new" finding is Hammerfall. (Well, it's really not TOO good or new, but it's still something.) I'd like to hear a lot more new of music and bands, but it seems quite hard for me, somehow. I'm open to new bands, if someone wants to recommend something! ^^
