Eminem - Curtain Call

Eminem's first "Greatest Hits" album. I'm looking forward to it. His new song "When I'm Gone" is on the album, as well as some other new ones. I heard When I'm Gone and I really loved it.

Are you looking forward to it?

I might get it. Eminem used to be my favorite singer, until I found out about blink-182 I dunno.. I might get it.

I'm gong to get it. I love Eminem. I hope the Way I AM is on there

God No. He is by far one of the worst musicians out there, IMO. Though "The Way I Am" is a good song, one song won't get me to like the rest.

Keep in mind that the topic in this case is not whether you like Eminem or not - it's about his album.

Actually it's whether or not you're looking forward to the album. So whether or not you like him is fairly large factor in the thread's topic.

This is great, I was hoping that I would have to buy like seperate albums just to get his good songs, Hope they release the playlist soon so I can decide if I'm going to get it or not. But I know I'm looking forward to it.

When I get my iPod on Wedensday, I'll have the ones I don't already have on CD.

I'll probably get it, just because I don't have all of his earlier albums, even though I think for the most part they're better than his new stuff. So yeah, I'll probably pick it up, or my friend will and I'll just borrow it from him and see if it's worth it.

It does have a large factor, obviously, but that doesn't mean you have to post about it. The problem with Entertainment is that everybody constantly repeat themselves; "I like this, I hate that", when it's not really needed or asked for. It's fine if you include your opinion about Eminem along with your comment on this very topic (the album), but if your reply doesn't mention the album I'm deleting it.

Try to avoid these kind of things in the future.

Actually, most record companies do the same layout for an artist's greatest hits CD. Warner almost always asks for one or two new songs (one of which is made a single), one song off a movie or tv show soundtrack, and then all of the singles. Depending on how many CDs the artist had out, they may exlcude the singles off of the first or second CD. Also, a Greatest Hits collection is usually the second-last album a band is contractually obligated to make for any given record company.

I believe that Eminem is signed to his own label, so perhaps he is just following the model that the bigger companies set.

Eminem is one of the greatest Naesala and there's no doubt I'm gonna get this album.

But I do concur, a new song on a Greatest Hits album doesnt exactly click. Ive been told that there are more than one new song on it. I bet its just hype to think up ideas for brand new album.

It makes sense to me, because it is after all the greatest hits, and why can't a new song be great? I thought albums like this one were supposed to just put the best songs of a specific artist on one CD (or perhaps even more). It could be old songs to new songs.

I see what you mean, But a "Greatest Hits" album usually is a compilation of past songs that were among the artists best. Not saying a new song cant be great.

Just bought it two days ago. Listened to it all in one night, and GOOD GOD... it was freaking amazing. When I'm Gone is the pwnt, and Fack was just simply hilarious. I also liked Stan, I hadn't heard it, and it was to die for. Overall, I'd give it a 9/10. This is something that no Eminem fan can go without.

I was going to buy this album for my brother, but then I heard one of the new songs on it, called "Fack". It's the worst song of all time, easily. I decided to buy my brother something else, since after releasing "Fack", Eminem no longer deserves my $13.

I'll have to disagree. Fack is just a prime example of Eminem's hilariousness. Oh well, I just suppose that everyone on ZU hates Eminem except me. :/
