~The Beatles~

You knew I'd make this sooner or later.

This thread is widely based on the rock band spanning from 1962 to about 1970, The Beatles. Composed of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Richard Starkey (Ringo Starr), replacing Pete Best as drummer.
This coming-together of sorts is to discuss likes, dislikes, favorites, conspiracies, the like, etc, etc.

I know there are a lot of fans out there, and lots of topics to talk about concerning this subject, so feel free to relay your opinions.

The Beatles were/are awesome. I've been seeing more an more of their music in commercials and such.

Paul is dead

That's all thanks to Micheal Jackson.
After buying out the rights, he had most people use them.
So every time you hear one of those songs on a commercial,
Micheal Jackson's oldest son is getting paid. Not Paul or Ringo.

Yup, he paid 47.5 million in dough.

Michael Jackson only owned the rights to about half their catalog, and it is a little bit more complicated than that, but who really cares.

I love The Beatles, but The Beatles is vastly overrated.

I wish The Beatles wouldn't had become a fad when they announced The Beatles: Rock Band.
I think that Paul McCartney was the meanest Beatle.
I feel that Ringo should've been loved more.

you're clearly into the more experimental stuff,rather than the accessible "pop" stuff.

I've never listened to a Beatles record all the way through.
It's a damn shame, I know.

I am particularly fond of Eleanor Rigby and the Taxman myself. XD

I absolutely love The Beatles. Though I wasn't around during 'Beatlemania', it's the music I grew up loving and hearing just about everyday.

I really don't like how Paul is seen as the bastard of the group in most cases. Just sayin'.

Right now, I've been listening to In My Life. And I've been working on Martha My Dear on keyboard. <333

It really is.

I know music is a matter of opinion and all but I really think to give them at least one (or thirty) chances. I can't listen to Hey Jude anymore without getting it burned into my brain from when I learned to play the piano parts. And yet I continue to listen to it......curious.

Get Abbey Road. Listen to it all the way through. Now. Especially "You Never Give Me Your Money" to "The End/Her Majesty," as that part of the album is supposed to be listened to as one continuous track. The rest is fantastic to. Oh! Darling, Come Together, Something, and Here Comes The Sun are among my favorite Beatles songs.
