I think they were more referring to the fact that The Beatles aren't exactly what one could call a 'fad,' unless it is a fad that has lasted over forty years. The Beatles didn't need their own version of Rock Band to make them popular amongst a large number of people, they were already there.

Unless, of course, your area was devoid of Beatles fans who all came out of the woodwork when the game was released or something. But most everywhere else (arguably) in the world was already quite infatuated with the band.

That. No one liked them until they saw us Rock Band nerds freak out over the game and wear Beatle merch. They then decided to turn The Beatles into a fad.

I guess I think that's just sad that they turned it into a fad. I mean to me it's etiher, you like The Beatles or you don't. Turning them into a fad is just uncalled for. In my opinion.

Doubtful, you probably just don't see many people outside your circle all that much so it seems like a fad.
