Alright all you dethklok'ers time to post!

Let the flames begin!

What shall I post... I know my favorite songs by dethklok are the Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle and then Go Into the Water.

Their songs are addictive, I'll give them that. But it's only half as it is good because of their show. My favorite song of theirs is that blues spoof they did in an episode, not sure of the name of it.

No, I'm saying they make it better. The song "Briefcase full of guts" probably wouldn't even be funny if it didn't have the episode to use as a visual aid.

^^^ oh, I went back and read the post and I had miss read it the first time, I see what you're talking about. I think, at least to me, you kind of worded it wierd.

I actually had Cartoon Network added to my channel roster and i still havent been able to catch this show. Perhaps i should use the DVR.
That Nathan guy cracks me up though cuz hes like Peter Steele and Glenn Danzig combined. I havent really heard the music that much.

If I remember right, the show makes a few references to Danzig.

I believe he's supposed to be a caricature of George Fisher of Cannibal Corpse. The show has credited him.

Its a funny band, music wise it isnt spectacular, there are better joke bands.

I have Speak english or Die and it's funny but kicks ass at the same time. Psycho stick is kinda like that.

But i think Nathan is supposed to be a caricature of many different metal personalities.

Probably. I just think George Fisher is the most obvious, probably because of the voice thing and the fact that Brendon Small has cited him as a main inspiration.

I'm seeing them next week with Mastodon (Get Crack The Skye if you haven't). They're fun to listen to, but they're a pretty piss poor death metal band. I haven't heard their latest album, but snippets from it sound a ton better than their first album.

Brendon went all out on this one. Dethalbum II is actually not that bad, especially for a joke band. It's consistently entertaining.

Would I pick them over most other death metal bands? Well... probably not, but I wouldn't call them piss poor.
