Musical Instrument collections

If you have a musical instrument, show it off some. Especially if you have something good, like a 59' Tele or something. I'll start of course.

Not Pictured:

Ibanez Nylon string Classical
Tama drum kit
Casio Keyboard (not sure on the model or anything)

Soon to be pictured:

Violin
Cello
Some kind of Sax

Re: Musical Instrument collections

Old pictures, because only one of my guitars is here and I'm too lazy to take a new picture of it.

Taylor PS10

Yamaha FG-412L and Gibson Epiphone Special

Not pictured of stuff I play: Mason & Risch piano, Yamaha DX7 keyboard.

Not pictured of stuff that my family has, but nobody really plays (I don't because I play lefty and they are right-handed guitars, though sometimes I play them for fun anyway):
Gibson Les Paul Goldtops (x2, one crica 1950s, the other 1960s)
Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton Signature Series

Then my brother has a bass or two and a mandolin.

Re: Musical Instrument collections

1950s and 1960s Les Paul Goldtops......I hate you The oldest thing I've ever been able to play is a 59' Tele a friend of mine has. All original except for the machine heads.

Re: Musical Instrument collections

They are pretty sweet. The older one is pre-serial number, so we aren't even sure exactly when it is from. The one from the 1960s is just beautiful, and it plays shockingly well, considering its age. The older one is more of a viewing piece, you can play it but it flies out of tune pretty much every minute or so. Probably because they didn't have the design nailed down yet.

Maybe not. But from what I know about vintages, especially Gibson and Fenders, they need their machine heads and tuners replaced in order to play well. The old ones were just crap. That Tele I was talking about plays great and stays in tune fine, I imagine it's due mostly to the new tuners.

Re: Musical Instrument collections

I have some cheap Encore classical guitar lol. Though I should be getting an Ibanez GRG170DX for the winter solstice, and a Dean Razorback 7 255 for my birthday in about six months.
