Are we listing songs that would make one feel better? Because when I'm depressed, I listen to depressing songs. It might sound odd but taht's how I roll.

I'm actually feeling like **** right now. This song always makes my day a little better.

I usually listen to anything more upbeat, powerful, and fast paced. Power Metal does the trick usually.

Because none of it really matters in the end, so long as I live forever as a nearly omnipotent, nearly omniscient posthuman, suspended safely within a computer powered by the energy harvested via Dyson megastructures.

But really, Anti flag - welcome to 1984 or Anti Flag - 911 for peace.

Stay away from Anti-Flag, they're terrible. Listen to some hardcore punk, like Bad Brains or Dead Kennedys. That'll get your aggression out.

I wrote a paper last year that talked about Bad Brains. I had fun researching that one.

I really have to be in the right mood for hardcore, and it isn't even usually an angry or frustrated one. Though sometimes I listen to this one when I feel particularly despondent.

I meant like, depressing music for a depressing mood, I have a few songs I listen to when I need a boost to feel better etc.

Eh, they have some decent stuff. A New Kind of Army is a pretty decent album, and Underground Network, despite being their ironicly titled sell-out album, has some ok stuff on it. (This Machine Kills Fascists)

But yeah, the DKs, Reagan Youth, Bad Brains, Fugazi, early Agnostic Front, early Black Flag, Crass, ChaosUK, etc... are all better than Anti-Flag.
