Favorite Guitar, Bass and drum brands?

Yea, you know ESP, Dean, Gisbon, AKG etc.

For me it would be the following:

Guitar: Schecter guitars have an amazing sound, are VERY comfortable and don't burn holes in your pockets. Amazing guitars.

Bass: Rickenbacker basses are amazing. I own one of these babies (4003 model) and I have to say that it is the best bass my hands have ever touched. This bass also has the most amazing sustain ever.

Drumset: Pearl reference series is very hot. It's sound is amazing. The birch and maple they mix also makes the tone very sexy.

So, what are your favorite brands?

Ibanez makes generally affordable quality guitars. A quality Fender or Gibson counterpart will ****ing put you out of a house with its price.

That being said, I'm very fond of Gibson and Epiphone, but only when a bargain has been worked. I have an Epiphone SG Prophecy which I managed to find on eBay for about 300 bucks. It plays like butter and the pickups (though demanding a battery) are ****ing great.

<3 Schecters are great. I love BC Rich. Particularly older ones. The newer ones arent made as well. ESP made good guitars.
Washburn basses are nice.

Drums? Id go with DW. Zildjin (SP???) makes excellent cymbals. Also Sabian.
Synths: Korg forever. Also old school Yahamas from the 80s. One of these days i will own a mellotron.

Agree. I have a Revenger, and I love the guitar. I've owned two Schecter guitars, and I love them both. Cheap, too. I still like Gibson guitars, but they're always so damn expensive.

The whole time that I played bass, I only played an Ibanez R-somethingorother that was really bleh(beginner's bass) and a P-Bass that my friend let me borrow for shows, so I can't really say what my favourite brand is. I did like the P-Bass.

Re: Favorite Guitar, Bass and drum brands?

I'm partial to Taylors and Martins, myself.

I also like Guild hollowbody guitars (the Starfire is a nice model), and their solid-body Bluesbird is quite nice as well.

I dig Gibson Les Pauls as well. I like the Gold-tops a lot, but I have nothing against the standard ones either. I used to be really into SGs as well, but I'm more or less indifferent to them at this point.

I hate Flying Vs, or any guitar that is V-shaped.

For bass, since I am only a casual player, I can only really say I like Fenders. I don't really have a preference between Jazz or Precision.

I don't know enough about drums to say which brand I prefer.

I don't know too much about guitars really, but I want to get into them. I have an Ibanez right now, nothing fancy, but just something I've been practicing on.

I've been doing some looking around at Sam Ash and such for something I might like to play on. From what I've seen I think I've narrowed it down to either an ESP or a Gretsch.

Never played any older ones. I know that every BC Rich I've had my hands on though was sure as hell a worthless piece of plywood.

Yeah its because they are pretty much made with a 2x4 with strings these days. I played one that was from the 80s that was just amazing. I could go into Guitar Center now and pick up a Warlock and it sound like utter crap and play like it too. Sad story. I miss the old BC Rich.

Martins are among the best acoustic guitars around. MAN those sound good.

I like Goden just because it's the kind of guitar I have. And for 600$, it's a steal. It's a fantastic guitar.
I have always wanted a Gibson though.
