So far, it's the best-reviewed movie of 2008, according to Rotten Tomatoes. I'm seeing it tonight with my girlfriend, and definitely looking forward to it.

I saw it last nght at a midnight showing. Mos awesome super hero movie ever. The fact Jeff Bridges(aka The Dude from The Big Lebowki) is in it makes it even better. Also stay after the credits for an awesome scene.

Agreed. Iron Man was cool, but the Dark Knight is the #1 movie this summer IMO.

Ill keep this in mind, I rarely stay after the credits and often times I get nothing. I remember half the theater stayed after the Credits on Cloverfield... Yet there was nothing there

Eventhought I haven't seen the movie just yet, I'm really not all that surprised considering...

Spoiler (Highlight to read):
They made the Ultimate version of Nick Fury look just like him! After that, they were basically asking for it

It's actually worth seeing it twice. O.o I saw it yesterday, and it was good. Very good, even, and I wasn't sure I'd like it before we came to the cinema. There were some great moments in the movie where I was truly enjoyed... and then some where I just kept watching because I had nothing else to do, but those were few and far between.

I hear there's supposed to be an Iron Man trilogy? True?

^ i would like to simply because sometimes it takes me a couple times to get everything that happens in a movie. I had never even heard of Iron Man before my friend told em that we were gonna go see it opening night a few weeks ago.

i've heard rumors of a trilogy. i'm always skeptical about trilogies. the second one is usually always crap.

anyway...
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
how do you guys feel about the ending where Tony told everyone that he was Iron Man?

Looking at comicanon, I can see why it was done and the potential plot of a sequel. It wasn't completely unexpected, actually.

Typical "OoOOoOoh, can this be a hint at a sequel, perhaps? Mwahaha!" from the producer.

i think a sequel will be made, and as i said earlier, i am always skeptical about sequels because nine times outta ten (or somewhere around there) they fail. Epic fail.

This movie was simply amazing. It had an amazing blend of comedy and action with a bit of romance.

The movie has so many moments where I was just laughing, then had me worried and concerened, and then just thrilled. It had one of those moments that I simply love where the main character gets a nice bit of revenge!

As for a trilogy, I can see that working. I know they have to get a sequel, the way they ended the movie is just begging for one, well both parts of the ending. The one before the credits and the one after. I mean this just screams seqeul and if there is going to be one, I am definitly going to see it!

According to Wikipedia, all the actors have signed on for another two movies, so a sequel or two are indeed in the planning. Also, Downey Jr. will have a cameo as Stark in the upcoming Hulk movie. Dun Dun Dun.
