I can't believe that your history teacher would actually have you watch that, unless it was like for a free day or something.
My teacher... insane? Actualy this description fits him quite well. Not in a bad way, he is a great teacher and makes History less... boring. Its the last three days of school and just took a test over Vietnam on monday or so. Not alot of time to cover anything else. He knows that there is not a whole lot of historic info. Somethiung fun while we wait for school to end.

Anyways.

I just got done watching Death Wish 5.

Re: Last movie you have seen.

Aliens vs. Predator 2 - Requiem

Unbridled garbage. Taking two monsters from hugely popular franchises and putting them head to head like this doesn't work. What made these monsters in the first place (besides truly inspiring design by H.R Giger for the alien) was the essence that they were hunters. They were creatures that stalked the films characters. They were all but invincible with a genuine air of mystery.

All of these factors fall to pieces when the aliens are no more than rodents, the Predator turns into a punching bag and any human they come across is a boring cardboard cut-out.

Let's not forget the pred-alien, which has the only role of appearing at every inconvenience to simply be a total bastard. It would be more accurate to give the damn thing a villainous moustache that it could twirl menacingly whilst churning out Dr. Evil's laugh.

The only aim of this film is abundantly clear. Let's go for shock factor. Let's do something that any self respecting film maker would avoid to perhaps try and genuinely frighten or scare the audience. I refer to this:

Spoiler (Highlight to read):
In the movie, the pred-alien enters a hospital and proceeds to impregnate a room full of new born babies with chest bursters. It then proceeds to impregnate an already pregnant women by putting its tongue/mandible thing down her gullet and pumping her full of embryos.

We're then treated to a scene of her belly popping and three aliens lying in her womb.

All in all this scene just disgusted me because it wasn't needed in the slightest. One could argue that it was to prove that no one is safe, women and children included. What's the point? They're ****ing aliens, you know everyone's ****ed. ANYWAY.

Terrible film. Rubbish acting, poor characters, dreadful CGI, crappy action and zero imagination.

Marks out of ten? I'm going to go with Yahtzee on this one: Four. As in FOURK YOU.

Pretty good ****ing movie. Its about 3 hours long, but it doesn't drag on at all. My only complaint is that stupid chick. >_> The one with all that hair...

Re: Last movie you have seen.

Just finished watching Bourne Ultimatum. Amazing film! Incredible close to the trilogy! After seeing the first two, I was excited to hear rumors about a fourth one, but Ultimatum was such a perfect ending that I think a fourth one would ruin it. Truly superb movie.

Re: Last movie you have seen.

Adhamh made me laugh.

Lets see, I watched the entire naked gun trilogy for the 8th time, it never gets boring!

Then I watched 300, then I read the graphic novel of 300 and had a whale of a time.

And then, to continue my spree of watching comic's-turned-movie's I watched 30 days of night, which is good, but not great.
Then I settled down for a session of Spiderman 3, this was the first time I watched it, and I was dissapointed a bit with venom, but overall I enjoyed it.

To round it all off I watched Punisher...it twas epic cakes
