The movie is very good although the ending seems abrupt its unique in the fact that it doesnt have the typical Hollywood ending and the characters are fun to analyze. I did not expect it to be such a dark film though.

Really one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I didn't know if it would be as good as last years The Departed, but it really was... in a lot of different ways.
Also, it was one of the scariest movies I have seen. No actual horror movies scare me now'a'days. Javier Bardem did an excellent job. And the suspence that the Coen Brothers brought was unlike any other.

It had its moments.
"You stand to win everything. Call it." But, nay, it isn't the best movie of last year (There Will Be Blood and Sweeney Todd trump it by far). It had the Coen Brothers and all the star appeal it ever needed. Plus they taught that Spainard to speak english and he suffered the worst hair cut of all time. Give them an Oscar and send them on their merry way for their troubles. |
