Indiana Jones IV

Well it's been 15-20 years since we last saw Indy. Now on May 22nd he's back! Even better...Harrison Ford still stars as Indy! Not sure he'll do his own stunts this time though.

Anyway heres a link to the trailer.

Feel free to discuss the other movies also

Here's a better version of the trailer.

YouTube - Indiana Jones 4 - Trailer #1 HD Valentine's Day

And man, I hadn't seen the trailer until just now. I've been very skeptical about it since I first heard it was being made, but by watching this trailer the movie looks like it has the same feel as the original 3. Hopefully the movie will turn out that way, because I'm starting to get psyched for it.

It's no big surprise to me. A lot of actors who were big in the 80's have been trying to make a comeback in recent years. The first one was Arnold Schwarzenegger for making T3, then Sylverster Stalone for Rambo and Rocky, and now Harrison Ford for Indy. My opinion, all three have passed their prime, so this is just their last effort to make it big (although, Harrison Ford is still a great actor, he should just slow things down and pass the torch).

I loved the original Indiana Jones and I've been looking forward to this one since I heard about it, the trailer looked great, looking forward to it even more now. I think Harrison Ford will pull it off with this one, although he is getting old, he is still a great actor and he made the originals what they are/were.

Although they've had this in mind for quite a long time now, so it's not just a recent "comeback".

I can't wait for Indiana Jones. The trailer looks AWESOME.

BGS, you forgot Bruce Willis & Die Hard.

The new Die Hard is an awesome movie, and given Harrison Ford, I expect this new Indiana Jones to be awesome as well.

Amen, dude.

Who said old people can't still be action heroes? Harrison Ford looks better than I thought he would wearing the hat again, he's still got some juice left in him.

Shia Labouf, or however the heck you spell his last name, is going to be in it. That kid's been in a lot of movies recently, and I suspect him to be in more. I don't know what kind of role he plays in this one, but everyone's gotta love Louis Stevens. He's going to add an interesting element to the movie.

It's true. This movie has been in development since the 90s. The deal is, George Lucas, Spielberg AND Ford had to ALL agree on the script before they would go along with anything. Then Lucas started doing the Star Wars prequels and that kept him busy.

Finally, a year ago or so, Ford said they either do it in the next year or forget about it and they decided to do it. Most people do not know that backstory so I imagine a lot will just assume Indy is trying to cash-in on what Stallone and Willis did. But Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has been a work in progress for quite some time. Many different scripts over the years. (I'm a big Indy fan )

Just so you know Steel_Goron, Harrison actually DID do all his own stunts again. A lot of people were surprised that he did just as many stunts as before.. Spielberg said he was just a little more beat up from them.

Yeah, Ford is old... but everybody gets old. I'm just glad to see Indiana Jones again for the first time in 19 years!!!

I'm a huge Indy fan. Have been my whole life. I've known about the development of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for a long time now, and have read up on news whenever there was any. But that didn't prepare me for what was coming next...

I went to the theaters sometime last week to watch Jumper (which is a great movie, by the way), and was hit by the Lucasfilm logo that has the double-meaning as the symbol of ultimate greatness. And then the music of much ultimate greatness, then, well, you know the rest.

For a lack of a better word, I was giddy. Ecstatic. It took everything I had not to hop up and down with excitement (seeing a big guy like me doing that would be very very strange). I was never able to see Indiana Jones in theaters, so this simple trailer blew me away! Nostalgia was no longer nostalgia. This was for my generation! Indy rides again! Okay, I'm probably not making any sense, because it's hard to describe how I was feeling while watching the trailer.

When the movie finally began, it was extremely hard to get a grip of myself and pay attention to what was going on. Even though I greatly enjoyed the movie, I left the theater, and from then on to the next couple of days, I was whistling/humming/dooting the Indiana Jones theme. The sad thing about this though is, I'll be on my mission by the time it's out in theaters.

Oh well. I might be able to rent out a theater someday and watch it like that anyways.

As for those who are complaining about Harrison Ford being too old...don't you think they've already thought of that? It's blatantly obvious to me. It happens during the Cold War, with Communist Soviets instead of Nazis. The trailer shows him being slapped around in the beginning (which further proves how old Indy is at the time), and I'm sure we'll have a few "I'm getting too old for this" jokes.

Trust me. All is well. This is Indiana Jones. It will be great. It will be ultimate. It will be extreme!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I too was very pumped as soon as I heard the Raiders March kick in and Indy put on his hat! Then swinging towards that truck but juuust missing it and falling back into the windshield of the one behind him going "Thought that was closer!" I was like... INDY'S BACK!!!!

I personally cannot WAIT to see it!!

BGS, I love your opinions. But I have to defend T3.

But not for Arnold's sake.

And this movie will be, undoubtabley good, and probably better than that crap stain--The Last Crusade (okay it was just weaker than the others ).

However they should have done it sooner.

yeah i was happy to find out that Harrison Ford was still Indy. What pisses me off is that the indiana jones trilogy was great and it never won any awards.

Ever since I learned about the Crystal Skull's I always thought it would be great for some story to revolve around them... and who better to do that then Indiana Jones?

Anyways i think this movie will do great, well even if most people think its horrible I think I will probably think it was amazing. It seems like every movie I like there is a bunch of critics claiming how horrible it is. *shrug*

Anyways I can't wait to see this!

I'm so pumped up for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull right now, I could march around the house while singing the theme! ^__________^

I'm going to have an Indiana Jones marathon very soon, just in time for the fourth one!

Critics find joy in making things look bad. What's worse is when people lemming-ly follow them.

Indiana Jones has always been a classic in my book, and seeing him "rebooted" from the 80s, much like Rambo and Rocky, made me **** my pants. Ford is back better than ever, and I'm a fan of Leboeuf's work, so I'm not going to be disappointed
I am currently watching the first 3 before this one comes out. I recommend everyone else do the same thing.

Hmmm, a double post is a must for this message.
Today is the final day we will call the Indiana Jones series a "Trilogy".

Indiana Jones IV was the worst film I have ever seen.
Hands down.

there is not enough room in this thread for me to rant...
