In The Name of Our King?

I was wondering... Is this movie going to be good?
I mean for some reason it's my type of movie, but it's not appealing to me.
I mean Jason Satum (spelled right?) is a great actor. He played very good in the Transporter's 1 and 2, and in Crank he wasn't bad.
I havn't seen the Jet Li one.
But this just doesn't seem his genre of movie.
Is there anyone out there who could say different?

Totally forgot about this movie.

It's loosely based on Dungeon Siege, so not only does it fall into the genre of Fantasy (like Dragon Heart and LOTR) it also partially falls into the "genre" or game turn film. Which seldom do very well, trying to think of a good one but I keep getting flashes of Mario Brothers and Tomb Raider.

Jason Stratham is a pretty good actor, but I think he should stick with the brittish ganster films (which is where he started), but with a few hollywood ones every now and again.

He was the first choice for Hitman, right? but he turned it down because of the similarity between Transporter and Hitman, and he wanted to avoid type casting?


Haven't heard all that much about this movie, but yeh, I don't think this thing is his strong suit, well maybe as a more secondary character, I don't see him as a leading character in a fantasy movie, but he could easily prove us wrong and be very good at it.

I think everyone is forgetting the biggest reason not to see this movie, it's directed by Uwe Boll the world's worst director.

Dungeon Siege's original story was crap. Uwe Boll's movies are crap. Put the two of them together and you get super crap.

Now if it had used the story of one of Dungeon Siege's mods, and had a good director, we might have seen a fairly decent movie, possibly even a fairly good one. Oh well.

I agree, but I'd like to pose another question if you don't mind.
There is also another movie that is out With Jason (however you spell his last name) and Jet Li in it.
Personally I find Jet Li a very good actor, but I don't know about that movie either... I forgot the title, but if anyone knows, please tell me if you've seen it.
