I didn't see a thread for this, sorry if there is one.

For anyone who likes the Twilight book series... The movie will be out roughly on December 12th, 2008.

Current casting:

Bella: Kristen Stewart (The Messengers (Jess), Panic Room (Sarah))

Edward: Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Cedric - need I say more?))

Opinions on casting? On the book becoming a movie itself?

I think Kristen will be a good Bella. A lot of people are saying she'd be bad, but really; she is a good actress. It'll be interesting to see her as a damsel in distress, rather than a butt-kicking female.

Robert will most definitely be great as Edward. The only thing is that he's British... but that's fine. D: I can imagine him being Edward easily.

Twilight is my favorite book.. along with it's sequels. I was so happy when I heard they were making it into a movie. I think Kristin will make a good Bella. Though, I thought Emily Browning was better suited for the part. I hadn't heard about Robert playing Edward till now. I'm not sure if I like him for the part. hm.. either way, I'm sure the movie will be good.

Oh my...why did they have to pick the Cedric boy? Urg. It makes me sick.

The girl looks alright I guess...but we shall see. I am interested in who they will pick to play Jacob and the rest of the Cullens.
