Favourite James Bond film

Which James Bond film is your favourite? Feel free to type a list of your favourite James Bond films starting with your favourite and ending with your least favourite.
Give reasons for your answer.

My favourite James Bond film is From Russia With Love, because the story is imaginative but realistic. And there is a great suitcase with a lot of gadgets, which Bond uses to trick Red Grant.
I also love Goldeneye, it has great action sequences. And those classic words:
"For England, James?"
"For England, Alec".

It's really hard to choose. I too perfer the more realistic Bond movies, and I was blown away by Casino Royale.

OHMSS is probably my favorite, even though I'm not a Lazenby fan. The story was great and characters were great, the action was impressive, and the tone of the movie was more serious than any other Bond up to that point. Oh, and there are a couple tear-jerkers that I can't deny.

Wait! No... hmmm, I loved GoldenEye, too! Living Daylights, License to Kill, Goldfinger, Dr. No, Casino Royale-- there were all fantastic! I guess I'll just put it this way: I am a huge fan of all the Bond movies except Roger Moore's and Die Another Day.

Goldeneye, I love this one because of the four I've seen this is the one with the most action. I also like naming which level is which while watching the film.

My favorite would have to be Goldfinger and also one of the other older ones but I can't believe I forgot the name of it

I also enjoyed the recent one, I thought they did a good job without using all the hi-tech technology.

I forgot to mention that Goldfinger is amazing! And it introduces the best car ever, the Aston Martin DB5!
I'll name the films in order to jog your memory on the film that you can't remember:
Dr No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
You Only Live Twice
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Diamonds Are Forever
Live And Let Die
The Man With The Golden Gun
The Spy Who Loved Me
Moonraker
For Your Eyes Only
Octopussy
A View To A Kill
The Living Daylights
Licence To Kill
Goldeneye
Tomorrow Never Dies
The World Is Not Enough
Die Another Day
Casino Royale.

Those are the official films, starting with the oldest (Dr No).
Here are the unofficial films:

Casino Royale (old version)
Never Say Never Again.

I love The Man With The Golden Gun! And I think Roger Moore is great as James Bond, I don't understand why people don't like him.

Reasons to dislike Roger Moore as James Bond:

-He was not a believable James Bond (he doesn't look like a fighter at all)
-He was too campy and silly (mostly due to the bad scripts he had to work with)
-He looked like trash in fight scenes
-He was creepy, not charming (especially in Live and Let Die)
-Not his fault, but his looked old as dirt in Octopussy and A View to a Kill.

Worst Bond ever.

I think he was the most sophisticated Bond, the most believable Bond and he had the best way with the ladies. But he wasn't the best fighter.
By the way, I have the same birthday as Pierce Brosnan (16th May).

Licence to Kill. It showed a new side of 007 played by Timothy Dalton, a more vengeful darker Bond than previous movies. He blended well with his nemesis in order to extract the perfect revenge against him for what he done to his friend Felix.

Other movies which i quite like include For Your Eyes Only, Goldfinger and Goldeneye.

Roger Moore portreyed 007 in the perfect way, he gave him his class his style and his image, and that is why he is my favorite Bond out of them all.

Some people just can't seem to get over the fact that Daniel Craig is blond. Too bad, they are missing on the best Bond since Connery...

I kno what you mean, but I think that was done intentially in Casino Royale. Remember that Casino Royale is about Bond before he became Bond. He is still rough, arrogant, and less charming. During the film, you see Bond slowly change into the more classic style movie Bond (but without going over the top in goofiness). Also, I noticed that the Bond theme song slowly creeps its way into the film, until the very end where Craig says "Bond. James Bond." and then the theme song officially begins for the first time during the movie. At that point, the movie has the classic Bond feeling. And from the sound of it, Bond's character will continue to grow in the next film, so I think we can expect the next Bond to have more of a classic feel.

But please, no invisible cars or gadgets that save Bond's ass from every situation. After all, we don't want another DAD.

Yeah at the end it totally felt like the Bond we all know and I tought it was cool for him to say, for the first time, the famous line like that. Yeah that was one of the reasons I did not like about Pierce Brosnan's Bond, it was like he was too dependant on the gadgets. That's what I liked about craig's Bond, he felt real. They did CR was gonna be a reboot for the series but I still count the old ones because there classic.

It's not that I hate Daniel Craig or anything, it's just that I have no desire to watch it. If it shows up on the tele, then maybe I'll catch a glimpse of it.

I go Connery, Brosnan, Craig, Moore, Dalton as my favs. I know Craig plays a inexperienced Bond, but still I'd put Brosnan and Connery before him. We'll see.

My favorites movies are:
From Russia with Love, Goldeneye, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Casino Royale.

I need to read the novels though.
