Re: Cloverfield
Oh was it, I could only catch a few of the names and they were not exactly spoken often. Plus I am horrible with names!

Re: Cloverfield
I only saw parts of the movie, but from what I've gathered from the snippets: the ending was crap - I heard booing throughout the whole movie theater. I'm not a big fan of camera-holding movies either, they tend to give me motion sickness. Plus, the whole love story between the characters was just horrid.

Re: Cloverfield
^Are you kidding? Booing? did you even SEE the ending?
Maybe everyone was booing because this was a movie that actually requires the viewer to do some thinking. I know the people right behind me were complete idiots, and wanted everything just told to them. All last night I was doing nothing but linking things together to figure out wot on earth happened. Something else interesting
Also, the home video style was perfect to me. I have never seen a monster movie I could believe in so much.

Re: Cloverfield
The movie really wasn't all that bad. Just don't try and think too much about it or you'll realize that there are alot of inconsistances in the movie, mostly dealing with the creature and its supposed origins but also events in the movie. Not to mention there are parts that just don't really make much sense at all.

These are just some of the things that I was talking about. The movie has more but I really don't feel like going through every little detail. |

Slusho! - You Can't Drink Just Six. Some of them are a little more obvious than that, though, but I can't quite recall the names off the top of my head. One was some sort of drilling company, though, while another was a group of environmental activists. EDIT: Fictional drilling company was called Tagruato, and the activist group was called Tidowave. there's also 1-18-08.com |
