Spiderman 3...a huge dissapointment

this ruined my whole summer--i was looking foward 2 it--as im sure many other pple were. it had no story and no heart-- the 2 reasons that made the first 2 so great. it was just abunch of random scenes thrown together. does any1 actually like it

I just bought the delux pack today and watched the film earlier. I was really excited for it but then I thought it was average. I totally agree with you on the fact that random scenes were put together, not that many emotions. I only liked the first 2 films. Seriously, they could of done better!

Spiderman 3 was awesome! I loved the battle scenes, especially the two on two Venom and Sandman vs. Spider-Man and the Green Goblin! The story was great! If you didn't get it, pay close attention... You'll get it soon enough.

I liked the battle scenes those were great.

But as far as the whole story goes... could have done better. Probably what killed it was they tried to have 3 different villians in one movie.

I think if they had actualy made a seperate movie for each villian it could have worked.

Also how sandman was turned into, well the sandman was just out of no where.

I liked the movie, really. I think it suffered from too much hype, but I'll admit that it wasn't as good as I'd hoped.
My main problem was the fact that they retconned how Uncle Ben died. That, and Peter forgiving Sandman seemed really forced.

...and would it have killed them to have Venom say "We are Venom!"?

It was pretty good, I do feel it was too much in too little time. What they should have done is hold Venom out to the next movie so that Peter/Spider-man could deal with Sandman and the symbiote suit this movie (which would have been more than enough story to play out). If they had done the creation of Venom at the end of this movie it would have created a lot of hype for the next movie since Venom is such a great character.

Also Topher Grace playing Eddie Brock was the worst choice.... ever. He is a tiny, ****ty actor. Venom is supposed to have some muscle! He should be bigger than Spider-man by far. Even despite size I am not a Topher Grace fan.

Those two points aside, I did enjoy watching the movie, but could have been so much better.

yup. HUGE spidey fan here and i didn't go to the threatre cause i KNEW it would be a let down... and it was. Why? Why wasn't the voice of Venom changed from Brock's human voice. And the attack of the 40 ft. Sandman scene was ridiculous. Plus, after 3 movies of using the SAME "will peter and MJ get together" storyline, kinda gets old.
