Thumbs up Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

So yeah I'm a big fan of Family Guy so I rented the movie about Stewie, and honestly even though I liked it, I was expecting something better, what do you guys think?

P.S that "wacky waving inflatable unflating tub man" commercial was funny and annoying as hell so annoying I love it. LOL I still watch it all the time.

I thought the movie was hilarious. My favorite bits were the Thunder Cats parody and Jesus's "miracles". Brilliant.
I would have preferred a story centered around Peter, but I'm not really complaining. It's exactly what I expected from a Family Guy movie.

Yeah, that jesus thing was funny as hell!! My favourite part was when little Stewie was like "and in and out, in and out. good, now lets practice with this block of swiss cheese." and then "Wow, eight minutes, that's twice as long as we practiced!"

Uh, actually, it was eight seconds! Keep that in mind. I loved the movie, owing to the reappearance of the Greased up Deaf Guy, the most random thing I have ever seen.

Re: Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

Pretty good stuff, I thought. Give nthe dissappointment I've had with the new season, I was pleased to find so many hilarious moments in the movie. I guess I cant; remember any specifics, having seen it but once and while back, but I do recall finding it rather humourous.

One thing I do remember: I liked seeing more of Ollie. There's an excellent side-character, right there. It could have used more of the old pedophile guy, though. A voiceover during the intermission wasn't enough. =P

Yeah, Ollie and the Old Guy are great, I love those characters.

Ollie: He's gonna get it!
Ollie: It's gonna rain!
Ollie: Who wants this Dog?

How fast before that gets old though? The first time, the "It's gonna rain!" bit, was one of my favorite Family Guy moments ever. I remember being in stitches when I saw it.

Re: Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

You know I didnt think it was that funny. It was just like a long mediocre episode of family guy. I also found that it was way too disgusting. ugghh! for some reason I dont like family guy much anymore. Come to think of it, it's just pointless random humor. Frankly I found the movie very disappointing.

The true spirit of delight, the exaltation, the sense of being more than Man, which is the touchstone of the highest excellence, is to be found in mathematics as surely as poetry.

(Of course unlike math poetry is useless)

Re: Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

I saw the entire thing last week (up until then I had only seen bits of it, as people insisted I had to see it from the beginning). It's pretty much a long episode of Family Guy...without having to bother with cencorship and such. It's funny stuff though, but mostly the same stuff you find in any episode of Family Guy, just longer, nothing really excitingly new...though it if ain't broken, why fix it as they say?

Re: Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

I loved the part where Peter flung himeslf out of the catapault and you expect him to fly through the guy's open window but he just lands outside and compliments the guy on his dominoes and kid. That was funny as hell.

And Bugs Bunny getting his neck snapped was disturbing.

Re: Family Guy's Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story

well I am happy to see so many positive reveiws of the movie, to tell that truth I have been thinking about buying it for a while now but just have held off on it due to that fact that I did not know if it would be good. But then again it is family guy every episode had at least one laugh in it.

Well the ice has been broken it is time for me to go you and buy it.
