The scariest movie ever.

What do you think is the most scariest movie ever? Personally, I think The Exorsist was the most scary. What do you guys think? The exorsist was scary because The girl looked so freaky! But what really got me was that.............it's based on a true story. (Scary-music) What scared you the most?

Re: The scariest movie ever.

Well, I can't tell you what is the scariest movie ever..

But it sure is NOT The excorsist.. I watched it last saturdays and it sucked balls, the movie was disgusting and I'm very disapointed in what's supposed to be the scariest movie ever. It was scary way back then, but now it sucks. A little twelve year old screaming "Lick me, lick me!" isn't scary, IT'S HILARIOUS... It was pretty repetitive too, the whole movie was about a lil' girl with a weird manly voice spitting at people and saying disgusting stuff, a mom freaking out all the time, and some weird special effects. The only thing that could possibly scare me from this movie is that it's based on a true story

I expected a lot more from the exorcist, but it dissapointed in many ways.. and don't get me started about "The exorcist II".. Satan suddenly is an african demon called Pazuzu, wtf?

A horror movie I did enjoy was "Texas chainsaw massacre"...fun for the whole family!

(edit: shouldn't this be in the "movies and hollywood" section?)

Re: The scariest movie ever.

the ring freaked me out a lot, the sixth sense was the cutest movie iv'e ever seen, (hjo stole the show and it wasn't scary) the exorcisim of emily rose was a cheap rip-off of the exorcist, but the scairest would have to be the exorcist and the emily rose thing.

Re: The scariest movie ever.

I'm probably not the best judge of this, seeing as almost every scary movie scares me. Except for Jeepers Creepers, that was just stupid. Let's see:

The Shining
Kairo/Pulse
Audition/Ôdishon (more disturbing than scary)
Shutter
A Tale of Two Sisters/Janghwa, Hongryeon
Scream 1-3
The Others

You know, I usually try to avoid scary stuff, but I always end up watching a scary movie or playing a scary game. I don't understand me.

Re: The scariest movie ever.

What about The Grudge, I thought that was pretty scary. At least the one with Sarah-Michelle Geller was. I think the worst ever attempt of a scary movie was The Village. Talk about pathetic.

I know! Everyone thought it was going to be like so freaky and it was their own ppl dressed in costumes trying to scare them! Seriously, the worst ending for a movie!

Re: The scariest movie ever.

Scary movies don't scare me, but the Exorcist got me thinking about possessions and that kind of stuff and it creeped me out...Other than that, nope nothing.

Re: The scariest movie ever.

It's funny to me now, but back then I couldn't sleep after watching it: The Exorcist. Not because of the girl, but the extended version subliminal demon face that appeared every now and then. Scary...

YES! I'm not the only one... wow, that face was absolutely terrifying. ><

Saw II was supposed to be so horrible and freaky, but I thought it was a freaking clever movie. What scared me about Saw I though, was that freaky pig-faced person! *shivers*

It's just the jumpy things that freak me out. And the gore... Supposedly Hostel is a horrible one... but I don't think I'm brave enough to see it.

Re: The scariest movie ever.

I thought Sceam 2&3 were funny!

I didn't see the Exorcist, but I heard it was good(I want to see the little girl barf!). I thought Saw was pretty creepy/cool, but I'm just messed up. Besides that, I haven't seen to many thrillers/horror movies, but I could ask my horror movie freak cousin which movies he thought was scary(he thought the Texas Chain Saw Mascre was funny or non-scary).
