Who would you have play Samus?

Since there may be a Metroid movie ... I just felt like making this thread... Now if the movie is a live action movie who would you like to play as Samus? I hope they don't make the movie... but this thread should be kinda fun. This isn't to talk about how bad the movie will be! Its to say who you'd like to play Samus! And that only! Or comments about other peoples choices and whatever...

I think Uma Thurman would be good. And from watching Kill Bill we know that Uma can kick butt... she looks enough like samus...

I disagree. Uma Thurman can kick butt, as proven in Kill Bill, sure. But with a half-decent amount of training and choreography, can't anyone?

My first thought was Natalie Portman. Laugh it up guys, i'm laughing with you. Natalie portman is simply my all-time favourite Actress, so I instinctively vouch for her in anything. It took me half a second to realise that she probably wasn't the best choice. Love Natalie Portman as I do, I still love a good movie.

Then I thought, Jessica Alba. A serious step up. She proved in Fantastic Four that you dont have to be blonde to play as one well. She is arguably dominating the A-List films, too, to boot. She is tough, versatile, flexible, but I still came up with a better idea.

Angelina Jolie. Think Tomb Raider [contrary to popular belief and automatic criticism, a good number of people actually liked these movies]. Think, especially, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. God, can she handle weapons. Not only can she handle them, but she can do so with style and fluidity. She somewhat resembles Samus, and as I pointed out above, you don't exactly have to be a blonde to play as one. Hell, she even has the figure. I believe Uma Thurman is too skinny for the role. Not built enough.

Don't get me wrong, though. If not Angelina, then definitely Uma. I just don't believe Uma cuts it when there is the beauty-talent packages that is the likes of Jolie. I mean, Uma isn't exactly going to strike you as Samus if the movie has her with no suit, right?

I'm not quite sure but I think that Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Or Jessica Alba because of her great part in Fantastic Four.

Well, anyone can dye their hair, so I guess anyone could do it. I think that Uma Therman could definately play the part, but if not, Angelina Jolie would be my second choice.

Well, if there WAS a live action Metroid movie, Uma Thurman could probably pull it off, Jessica Alba would be a good choice as well, but considering It would be really weird considering she is in the suit most of the time anyway, they woudn't need to do too much either way.(With stunt doubles they could just use a track of the actresses voice)

I would have Brittany Spears play her..why? i dunno, it'd be funny to watch Brittany Spears dressed up in a space suit running away from floating brains with golden rending pincers for legs.

Correction, it wouldn't be funny, it would be horrible and the movie would really really REALLY SUCK!!! if Britney Spear played Samus. Why??? come on who said she could act, plus the vast mayority of the population don't want to see her in movies or anywhere anymore.



P.S Angelina Jolie is the choice, why??? she's hot, talented, and........uh.....mmmm Really HOT!!!!

Even if it was funny, I doubt that would be the point of the Movie.

Gweneth paltrow, she can have a very seriously look to here, and as seen in The Royal Tenenbaums, she can come off as quite nonchalant and aloof, which I think embodies Samus' badass nature.
