The Exorcism of Emily Rose

In an extremely rare decision, the Catholic Church officially recognized the demonic possession of a 19 year-old college freshman. Told in flashbacks, 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' chronicles the haunting trial of the priest accused of negligence resulting in the death of the young girl believed to be possessed and the laywer who takes on the task of defending him.

How do you think this movie will be?

Exorcism? That's always fun. I haven't heard anything out here, but if it involves an exorcism, it's bound to be interesting.

This movie looks scary, only because it's based on a true story... It's not like make you jump scary, more like Satanic scary.

This movie looks interesting. I'm seriously considering seeing it. It looks to be like a modern Exorcist, but it might not suck because it's based off of a true story. And by suck I mean, a stupid rip off of the original Exorcist.

It looks like it will be pretty good... for an Exorcist rip-off, anyway. I'm always for sticking to the original, but, who knows? Maybe Hollywood will suprise me...

But, bear in mind, trailers have a bad habit of giving away the best parts of the movie, so what you see isn't always what you get. And yes, true stories always make the best horror films.

Is it a movie based on a true story, or is it a documentary?

Still, the idea is very disturbing, was she poscessed, or was there did an over-zealous priest killing her?

its based on a true story. me and my buddy went and watched it the other night. its the scariest movie iv seen since pet semetary, and im a horror movie fanatic

Well.....i hate it when they put some weak preacher on these types of movies.....get a real one that can cast a demon out in a second.

Just sounds like another shot at the first Exorcist movie. Best movie about Exorcism, IMO.

it looks freaky. Anything with holy and evil mixed in, not my kinda movie. My friends brother saw it, and he said ppl were leaving the theatre..that would probably be me

Looks pretty dumb to me. Most of these new wave horror flicks like The Ring and The Grudge are more stupid than scary.

I don't know about Exorcism except that's how preist get demons out of people.

I don't really like watching movies about supernatural stuff like ghosts though.

I didn't watch it, but from what i've read in the reviews, it's like a 2-hour Law and Order episode that deals with demons and possession.

I haven't seen the film, but I think it isn't that bad. I just don't believe that it's real. I respect the Catholic Church's decision, but I just don't really believe in Exorcism.

The idea in the original movies were excellent, but what time is Emily Rose set in? Because if it's after the movies were made, it may have been a spoof.

It was actually a pretty good movie...

I thought this looked stupid but now that I see the preview on tv a lot it has gotten to me. I think I will download it and check it.

It sucks just like any other movie that is terrible sucks. Bad movie idea + bad script + bad acting= terrible movie.
