Post Sky High

Has anyone seen that movie?
I've seen it and I thought it was better than Fantastic Four.
Danielle Panabaker sure played her character Layla very well.

Re: Sky High

Sky High seems like a corny movie when I saw its preview at the movies. Is it worth the money to go out and see?

If it has Danielle in it, then its totally worth seeing it. She is a very talented actress.

Re: Sky High

I don't watch Disney movies for money. Except for Pirates of the Carribean. Disney movies always are corny, have parts that are supposed to be funnay (but aren't), and always have happy endings.

Re: Sky High

I saw Sky High twice. I liked it a lot both times. It wasn't as good as I expected, but it was definately worth my money.
Oh, and yes, Danielle does play Layla exceptionally well.

Took the words right outta my mouth. But I would want to see it jst to see what kind of powers everyone had and what the school was like. But if I don't see it I couldn't care less.

Re: Sky High

I think I'll try to see it, despite it being a Disney movie. It seems to be pretty original idea. I hope it's not a waste of money.

I almost went to see it with my sister today(she changed her mind). It looks pretty dumb to me but thats just because I know what real acting is.

Re: Sky High

I've been planning on seeing it when it hits the dollar theaters. It sounds like it might be fun. Costumed vigilantes rock my socks off. What could be better than violently administering excess virtue on deserving criminals?

Re: Sky High

IGN had a review of it a while ago and they gave it pretty high marks. They said it was more of a spoof of high school films than superhero films if I remember correctly. I saw the preview for it and it looked quite good, something that'll keep the kids interested and probably appeal to some of the older people in the audience.

Here's the review: http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/637/637559p1.html

I might give it a go when it comes out, if I don't see it I'll rent it on DVD.

Re: Sky High

Sky High was definitely worth renting, but I wouldn't have gone to the theatre for it. Good movie.
