The Boondock Saints II - All Saints Day

If you loved the first movie, then you'll probably get a kick out of this trailer!

http://www.firstshowing.net/2009/09/...ll-saints-day/

It looks awesome so far. The first movie was fantastic. Hopefully this lives up to it!

Most of you guys probably don't know what I'm talking about, so here's a little plot summary from the first movie. It'll give you a general idea of what this series is about.

Quote:
The Boondock Saints is a 1999 crime thriller film written and directed by Troy Duffy. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as Catholic Irish American fraternal twins, Conner and Murphy MacManus, who become vigilantes after killing two members of the Russian Mafia in self-defense. After a message from God, the brothers, together with their friend David Della Rocco, set out to rid their home city of Boston, Massachusetts of crime and evil; all the while being pursued by FBI Special Agent Paul Smecker

Re: The Boondock Saints II - All Saints Day

I'd never even heard of the first movie until a month or two ago, when my friend made me watch it. Now it's one of my three favorite movies, and I'm looking forward to seeing this one. : 3

Boondock Saints never struck me as a movie that particularly needed a sequel. It stands perfectly well on its own.

Everyone was suppose to be coming back who lived through the last one. DeFoe is just stupid, so they replaced him with a chick. Probably someone they think is a lezzie to keep it in the spirit of things.

But Rocco was killed in the first movie, so what's he doing walking around, and showing up in the credits in the trailer?

Unless it means fLASH BACK TIME

It's because Troy Duffy is a crazy person. Watch the movie Overnight, the guy is off his rocker and self-absorbed as hell.

Flashbacks and hallucinations are my guesses.

I've always like the first one. The premise, the style. I'm not a big fan of sequels like these, but I wouldn't mind seeing this one.
