And Episode 2 totally raped Boba Fett's backstory and threw it into a dumpster.

The only thing being thrown in the dumpster is Jango's old helmet. And if you think they ruined Boba's backstory, next you'll probably be saying the prequel trilogy threw Darth Vader's backstory into a dumpster too.

It did. I liked Vader far more when I didn't know he was a whiny wooden ****.

Ugh, prequels. Being the young, cute thing that I am, I never saw the original trilogy until shortly before the prequels, and I could certainly not be accused of being a fanboy. But they're still crap movies.

When I first saw The Phantom Mennace, I loved it. Why? Because I was 8 and loved anything with flashing lights and explosions. I could never quite understand what everyone's problem with it was. I was only a little older when I saw Attack of the Clones, and thought that Yoda flipping out with a lightsaber was awesome (who am I kidding, I still think that's awesome). But watching them a second time years later, I see them for what they were. Ascetically, the CGI-overkill is horribly unattractive. The acting is plain horrible. The story did nothing for me, adding nothing to the original movies. I cared very little about the characters. The explosions were still nice, but to this day I maintain that the PT were horrible, jumbled messes of movies.

It was very boring and ordinary.

I also will never understand what's so great about Episode 3. It was God-awful. That last fight scene was not dramatic or emotional or well choreographed or anything. It sucked.

The fight ending in Ben's death in the original trilogy was a million times better, and it was with two old guys rather than two young actors full of spunk.

I enjoyed moments of the prequel trilogy, but the originals are solid classics.

The prequels are set in a fun familiar universe, but that's all they have going for them
the chronology seems forced and heavy-handed, Anakin magically catches up in age to
Padme, no one is surprised that Padme was the queen, I've seen better dialogue in
comic books. Very little quality acting (mostly due to dialogue) and a romance that
convinced nobody

The Phantom Menace had it's moments, I think. Episode II and III are among the worst movies of all time.

I think you're exaggerating. Episode 2 and 3 have nothing on Batman and Robin.

Batman and Robin is so bad it's funny. Episode I and II are just mediocre garbage.

I enjoyed them all. Not as good as the originals, but you know. I liked them. Although I must complain about some of the actors.

Something not totally and completely cliche.

I liked the prequel trilogy, I just don't like it as much as the original. Its still good though.

Sometimes no backstory works.

What was Boba's backstory? The galaxy's greatest bounty hunter is the clone of the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter. Pointless

OMG I hate the prequels. They were terribble. The only part worth watching in the entire trilogy is the fight with darth Maul.

In my opinion, episode 3 was the worst of them all.

And also... Is padme some kind of pervert in the first episode?

The prequels were both awesome and terrible. Awesome, because it was Star Wars. Terrible, because the dialogue made me want to claw my ears off.

I don't understand how people think Episode 3 was the worst. It had one of the most epic battles (Kashyyyk) and one of the most epic endings in the prequel trilogy.
