Is David Bowie in Bandslam?

Has anybody seen Bandslam, and if so, could they tell me if David Bowie actually appears in it at any point?

The imdb lists him on the cast list as playing himself, but I'm hoping that this is just an administrative error.

Well, this is depressing. Now I have to go and see it - and by proxy, I'll be helping fund the lifestyle that Vanessa Hudgens has become accustomed to.

The only thing that could make me feel any worse now is if I find out he's appearing on Scar-Jo's next album.

He's only in it for the last 2 minutes or so, haha, but the movie is really good! Definitely nothing like "High School Musical" or "Camp Rock". Promise!

I had to see it by default also. The movie is basically a failed attempt at mixing a high budget movie (eg. Camp Rock) with an 'indie' film like Juno. I use that tag very loosely, mind you. The premise hangs on the main character sending daily emails to David Bowie and never getting a reply. Oh Gnoes!
