All I know it's post apocalypse...other than that I am lost. But that doesn't make it less awesome.

Re: 9

When I saw the trailer for this movie set to Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home", I just about wet my pants. Never has a song fit a movie so unexpectedly well.

Needless to say, it looks awesome, and I can't wait : D

Re: 9

Saw it during the previews for Coraline. Rented it from Blockbuster and put the movie in and the trailer came on. I was just like, standing in front of the TV with my mouth open. My mom was yelling at me to come help her with the dishes and I was like "SHUT UP MOM I HAVE TO WATCH THIS IT LOOKS AWESOME"

So needless to say, I am really looking forward to this movie.

I just hope the rest of the soundtrack fits as nicely into the movie. But it was really nice hearing a Coheed and Cambria song used for a movie. Their songs should be used more.

Re: 9

Tim Burton produced 9. I dont think he directed it at all. (Kinda like Coraline) But his vibe is definitely there even in the trailers. HOLY CRAP i cannot wait.

Re: 9

It doesn't look like your typical Tim Burton film (which for me is a good thing) This movie looks interesting. I might see it.

Re: 9

Tim Burton always gets praise for things he only produced. Look at TNBC. He made the original poem, co-wrote the movie, and produced the movie, and that's it. He had nothing to do with the direction or the tedious stop-motion.

Anyhow, you guys are late. Good ol' Forte discovered this movie long ago. Yeah I'm excited.

Right, so this was because Forte says he doesn't like himself. I want him to like himself a bit more.

Re: 9

When i first saw the trailer in the theater (which i saw in front of Terminator Salvation) hearing Coheed & Cambria blasting on the theater speakers made me VERY happy. I'm really looking forward to this movie, seeing as im a major Tim Burton fan (despite the fact that he only produced it).

Re: 9

^Watch the ****ing trailer.

I saw it today, on opening. And what can I say? The movie was amazing. In the short time (roughly an hour and twenty minutes?) so much happened and the story was perfectly explained. It didn't seem like they rushed a thing, the style and look of it was amazing, the voice acting was hella good. John C. Reilly was great. There was so much action, practically non-stop, and it's the first movie in years to be able to make me jump (A tad bit toward the beginning). It was a thriller at its best. Perfect combination of action and moderate fear (Seriously, #2 snake, baby-head thing was ****ing creepy man). And, as I said, despite there being quite a lot of action and little to no boring parts, they still explained the story and did it well. The characters are lovable, even the overprotective #1. #7 was clearly in it for the swag, with her pterodactyl-****in' helmet-ass thingy and her cool ass style everytime she attacks something. Seriously. The trailer did not disappoint me, like most trailers do (the guys who make trailers are probably paid to make movies look better than they are).

Overall, 9 gets 9 kick-ass sockpuppets with human souls, out of ten. Go see this movie. Preferably today. 9/9/09, very rare date. :/

Oh yeah, the designs of everything was great. Especially the bad guys, or the little inventions that they make and stuff like that.

Re: 9

I saw it 9/9/09 at 9 . Stupid theatre put in screen room 8 though...
I thought 2 was better than 5. That snake thingy was a thing of nightmares to me. I found it a little odd that there was a female puppet and I just loved the twins.

Sadly for those who don't really get what the movie is about theres really no way to explain it without giving away the whole movie.
