When you hear "Brad Pitt" you think of...

Whenever you hear the name Brad Pitt, what movie pops into your head? Either that or what's your favorite film of his. If you've chosen 'other', specify why and what you think. Personally for me, it would definitely be Fight Club. That movie has to be in my list of top 3 favorite movies of all time. Grew up with that movie. Instant classic.

I think of a pretty good actor who the *****es love.

Mr and mrs Smith.

Spy Game. That movie is pretty great.

Along with that, I'd say Fight Club and Troy, which was a vastly under appreciated movie.

When I think of Brad Pitt, I think of how he made the fascinating Ancient Greek culture look like a bunch of Americans and English-men fighting for some woman. I think of how he assisted in the white-washing of Greek culture. I think of my deep, burning hatred of him.

(It had to be done. )

But yeah, as of a couple months ago, Benjamin Button, I'm afraid. Interesting, because despite how much I loved the movie, I really don't think Pitt was right for the titular role at all.

As far as roles that Pitt was at his best in, I would have to say Fight Club or Snatch.

Yeah, the last 20-30 minutes of the movie are far and away the best (and most heart-wrenching) part.

Plot-wise, I thought it was pure idiocy, though (both on the part of Benjamin IU and the writers OoU), for Benjamin to leave his family and make sure that his daughter never knew him. That grated on me more than anything else about the movie. >_<

(Oh, and lightning dude was cool--I was just disappointed we never got to see all seven times that he was struck. )

But the movie with him starring in it that comes to mind first would have to be Benjammin Button as I saw it the most recently.

Ocean's 11 to 13, since they were the only movies with Brad Pitt that kept me really interested and were great to watch.

Before I saw Fight Club, I thought of him as one of those actors like Shia Lebouf or Nicolas Cage or James Nesbitt, whose very presence ruin a movie because even though they may not be bad actors, you still think of them not as the character, but as the actor playing the character.

When I saw Fight Club, I realised just how good an actor Brad Pitt really is, and ever since, if I hear that Brad Pitt's in a film, I'll want to watch it. Which has led to me going "ooh!" whenever his name is mentioned in association with a film, and all the females in the vicinity will look at me with shock-horror, and then I have to explain that it's just because he's a good actor.

Inglorious Basterds at the moment.

I just get the image of him talking about how he wants its 100 Nazi Scouts

I think of "man, what a douchebag Pitt is. I want to punch him in the face."
