So about that Sherlock Holmes, it's a really good series (I've only read the originals, though) and I really love Robert Downey Junior so. It's gonna be great. Also, it looks like they're staying true to the books....finally.

I'm really interested in seeing how this turns out.
This and Up may be the first movies I've seen in theaters since the Dark Knight.

I was really really interested and excited for this up until I watched the trailer. Then I said to myself "this looks like a Guy Ritchie movie" So I looked it up and lo' and behold it is. So my interest and exitedness dropped about fifty notches.

Who's Guy Ritchie?

Madonna's ex-husband, and also a director and writer. He made a couple of awesome movies like Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, but now he just makes really bland and mediocre movies all covering the same sort of subjects like Revolver and RocknRolla.

When I saw the tailer, it wasn't exactly what i had in mind when it came to Sherlock Holmes. It looked more like an action comedy

Yeah, it looked to me like they were trying to throw some unneeded comedy in there.

I'll go watch it anyway. You know, 'cause it's Sherlock Holmes and everything.

Oh gawd, yes, I'm looking forward to this. Been a Sherlock fan for a looooooooong time, so I'm there, man.

Plus, it's Downey Jr. and Law. I love them both as actors and because, well, I'm a female.

I heard that it was because it drew inspiration more from the Sherlock Holmes graphic novel(s) than the books. But either way, casting Robert Downey Jr can never go wrong in my book

That looks absolutely ridiculous. I'm a big fan of Downey Jr., but good god it's got Jude Law in it. Also, bare-knuckle boxing? Just.... wow.

I saw the preview in the theater... and I thought, "hey, is nothing sacred?"



While this movie looks mighty interesting (and it seems like Downey, Jr. is a good choice for Holmes *ahem*), I doubt I'll make a trek to the movies to see it. I'll probably rent it when it's only a buck.

Yeah man i wanna see this! I love Sherlock Holmes movies! Jude Law looks like an awesome Watson!

I've seen the trailer for this, and I can't say I'm interested at all. It looks like it has more in common with James Bond than Sherlock Holmes. :/
