No, they had way too much romance plot and way too little plot that actually mattered

This movie was a travesty. It was created specifically to cater to the fantasies of fat fangirls who need fodder for their crappy fanfiction.

OMG WHO IS HARRY TAKING TO THE WINTER DANCE? OMG DOES RON LOVE HERMOINE? OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR QUIDDICH TRY-OUTS WHO WILL MAKE THE TEAM?!

I don't care about that **** when there is a world wide invisible war involving wizards happening.

Bah, personally i liked a break inbetween the dark stuff to give us more stuff like the originals: happyness. I mean, ever since the 3rd one it seems like theres been hardly any times when they were actually happy until this movie :c

besides for the parts that were taken out and added in it was a very good movie. I think it was the best one.
That was weird to me too. It total ruins the point of the attack at the end of the wedding in DHs

MrsBonJovi, I do believe I've one upped you.

The day before we went to go see HBP, we had a 14 hour long marathon of the first five, then immediately saw the sixth.

Beat that.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I watched... a few days after it was released in theatres. I'll just do a small review (nothing 6 long paragraphs) because I absolutely suck at reviews.

Overall, it was funny. I've noticed each movie gets more darker (not referring to light, although the movie was fairly dark in that sense). Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to understand a few parts because of the transfer between major and minor story plot. And even more unfortunate, I didn't read the books (okay, only the seventh). *hears angry fans* Too late now. I've seen all the movies, so reading it would get boring for me.

The near-end was particularly sad (my sister had to tell me the end >.<). Oh, I wonder how much more sad/darkness can be poured into the final movie.

9/10. It could've been more focused on the main plot stuff.

The main plot is nothing without the personality behind it. If the characters aren't people to you, why should you care if they die, live or turn into porcupines?

xD

Yeah, you're right. Snape pretty much fools everyone, including the readers/viewers.

(At least when the sixth book was out).

Re: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I think Snape kind of gave away of him being a good guy in the sixth movie. I mean, right before he went up to kill Dumbledore he saw Harry, who saw him, then told him to keep silent. Wouldn't he have done something more sinister like revealing that Harry was there to the other Death Eaters?

And when he actually killed Dumbledore, you could clearly see regret on his face. Normally when someone was murdered, you would see an evil smile or look on their face, and what Snape showed was clear regret. Also, he didn't fire the 'Avada Kedavra' curse until Dumbledore had said 'please.' Yeah, this part followed the book, but I thought they'd have actually changed it in the movie.

Meh, I thought it was ok overall. I liked the fifth one better, much more epic fight scene. They didn't even have the fight in the castle in the new Harry Potter...

Yes but you see...That expression was mentioned in the book. It really was. If his face didnt have that expression at that moment in the movie, i would have really been outraged. Its very significant.

Just wait. You'll get your Hogwarts battle in the next film(s). Yeah you are gonna have to wait for the final half (split movies) but the first half has plenty of battle too. Dont worry, it will come. and it shall be epic.
