They are making a movie about 2012.

I saw the movie preview when I went to go see Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen.

I think it's supposed to be in theaters next year, or the year after that.

They should release it on December 21st, 2012.

Oddly enough, the guys who made those movies are making this one. So it probably will be like that.

I still have the shivers from watching that preview.

I know exactly what you mean

I saw the preview sometime last year in the theater and I was stunned. I think there was a discussion about the doomsday prophecy on here when I went to see it. Because I remember thinking 'It be cool if one of these previews was for 2012'

Anyways everytime I see the preview I still get shivers. I am definitely going to see it.

Well, if it is confirmed that the world will end when that date is nearly here, then we can all commit suicide without the worry that we're doing it for no reason. :/

What I am saying is, don't commit suicide unless they can actually prove it- and wait until within a few days of doomsday to actually take your own life. I'm being serious, by the way- if confirmed, just live your life until within the final 24 hours of Earth, and then just, well, take your life peacefully rather than be blown to pieces, burnt to death, or something slow and painful.

I personally don't believe it will happen because, the last time I checked, I should have died back in 2000, but if disasters DO start breaking out in late 2012, we obviously don't have a reason to live anymore, because it is better to die peacefully than something awful, such as having your flesh slowly melt off. You know what I mean. :/ >_>

I think it is just a movie to scare people ;D

Yeah, this looks pretty good. I like how it's focusing less on the catastrophe and more on the aftereffect; how humanity will deal with the problem etc.

Until today I wasn't even aware there was a second trailer. But from the trailer, the special effects look amazing.
