Sequels you would like to see

As we all know if a movie does could they usually do sequels. In fact sequels make up half of Hollywood's crap pile of money. And they always make those stupid direct to video sequels which disney is famous for doing. So tell me which movies would you like to see to have a sequel.

I would like

Taken II

Die Hard 5

Lethal Weapon 5

Speed 3 ( and have Keanu Reeves come back)

Terminator 5

Death Wish 6

Re: Sequels you would like to see

I wouldn't mind a sequel to Taken. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I loved how he was willing to up against anyone and anything to get to his daughter.

Re: Sequels you would like to see

Though I am generally opposed to sequels, as they are almost invariably incomparable in quality to their predecessors (wow, lots of "in"s in that sentence), there are a select few that are deserving of such treatment. The new Batman franchise is one of these. Christopher Nolan is on the record as saying he's not sure if wants to do a third film, as he wants to make sure that there's a story he can stay invested in for the three years it takes to make such a film.

Good for him, because it means that we get good sequels, but my god, I hope a story he can stay invested in comes along. The Dark Knight was just so amazing that I would love to see him try to top it. Plus my own personal interest of seeing the Penguin in this new franchise is just far too strong at this point.

I would also like to see another Bourne film. That was another one of the few franchises where the films got better each time. Even though Robert Ludlum never wrote a fourth Bourne book, the movies have largely ignored the story of those books and only focused on the basic concept thus far anyways, so I don't think it would really be a problem.

They were supposed to make a sequel to "Dude, Where's my Car", but it looks like now they won't. Still, I'd like to see that.

I think the trilogy ended strongly and doesn't necessarily need a new movie, but I too would love to see a new Bourne.

Re: Sequels you would like to see

The Dark Knight 2/Batman Begins 3 - ideally I'd like Dent to have survived but be in a coma; my one complaint with TDK is that Two-Face's character wasn't very well explored. I doubt that will happen, though

Spider-Man 4 - I'd rather the franchise not end on that note, and thankfully it won't, since this is underway

Iron Man 2 - I'm somewhat worried, though, that it will end up being terrible. But if they keep the focus on dialogue and characterisation, it'll be fine

The Naked Gun .44 - Leslie Nielson, come back!

Star Trek 2 - what would REALLY rock would be a TV series

Predator 3 - That series was still good when it finished - I don't count the AVPs

RoboCop 4 - Bring back the gore!

Demolition Man 2 - I don't know how it could work, but I want it

Batman/the Dark Knight 3

I think it would be just awesome if they made a batman beyond movie instead.

Transformers 3,

Spiderman 4,

Daredevil 2,

star trek 2,

toy story 3,

Also I know it wouldn't be a sequel but as long as I'm talking about superhero movies I'd like to see a Justice league movie.

A remake of the third Pirates of The Caribbean, because it wasn't that good. Also, it would be sweet if they finished The Series of Unfortunate Events.

They're making a prequel, will that do?

You mean there's more? It seemed to wrap up nicely.

I don't know how they would do another Taken movie. "My daughter has been kidnapped again?" "My wife/best friend/father/dog is in danger this time?" Only way I could see it working is if they changed all the characters and just kept the same concept, but even that would be fairly pointless.

Live Free or Die Hard was probably the best way to go out for that franchise. Doing another would be pushing it. Especially if they make it PG-13 again.

They've been trying to get another Lethal Weapon flick made for the past couple years, but Mel Gibson apparently has zero interest in doing one, though apparently script work is still being done anyway.

Apparently one is in the works, despite disinterest from Damon and the Director initially.

I think Shia LeBeouf said recently that Speilberg has begun thinking about another Indy movie, but I don't see it happening. Not really needed either after the 4th one, story-wise.

I don't think they've revealed anything about the story yet, as I don't think it has finished being written yet.

Considering the entire idea behind the movie, this either really likely or impossible.
