She is dressed NOTHING like she is in the game. Now, even with bad cosplayer costumes you can at least recognize whom they're trying to dress up as. So why can't the Hero of Time crew put together a costume for Zelda that actually resembles what she wears in the game?

As for the quality of acting, budget once again has little to do with. Just look the Star Wars prequels...ENORMOUS budget, and downright awful acting. ("I don't like sand...") Look at the Blair Witch Project...shoestring budget, unknown actors, and I thought it was pretty damn convincing.

I 100% agree . Look anywhere online, there are SPECTACULAR link, zelda, malon costumes that I've seen. they look more than passable, some even look good enough for a big budget movie. how the creators of this movie thought it would be a good idea to use a wig for link and the abomination of a dress Zelda wore(even Dampe in OoT dressed better than that).

Instead of investing in a composer, they should have added to the costumes, actors, driecting, cgi. Quite frankly, just about everything in this movie could have, and should have been stepped up.

but a little off topic but let's be fair, as bad as the new Star Wars movies were, Ewan McGregor did well with working around the shoddy dialogue :p

I would probably enjoy it much more if there wasn't so much cheesy acting. However, I just hope it won't totally suck... but then again, back to that cheezy acting -.-

But I still don’t see why you’re making an argument out of this. Zelda has been both blonde and brunette, so Hero of Time isn’t “wrong” in their interpretation of Zelda. And it doesn’t really matter what people imagine when they visualize Zelda. If they want her to have blonde hair so much, then they can go make their own fan film and make sure that their Zelda is a blonde.

I don't think they're WRONG. I just think it was dumb. Most wont be able to make that connection from game Zelda to movie Zelda.

I mean, why not give Link pink hair? It wouldn't be WRONG.
