Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

Oh goodness, this took a while for me to think of, but I'd have to say that Hercules and Mulan come in a tie for first place, and Aladdin & the Lion King for second. If a third place had to be rewarded, I'd give it to (again, a tie) Tarzan and Balto.

But with the days of Disney creating hand-drawn animation going out the window, I sorta can't wait to see the upcoming movie "The Princess and the Frog" to see how well Disney has kept things up in the drawing studio. Sure they made the movie Home on the Range, but to my recollection, it didn't do that well in the box office compared to other Disney films (I barely remember any commercials or merchandise for the film).

Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

I love Mulan. It's such a beautiful story, and I love all the characters (especially Mushu).
Plus, 'Be a Man' is the most epic song ever. Don't believe me? Then just see Jackie Chan sing it! He will show you how epic this song is!

Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

I'll update on a more widespread scale.

Toy Story 1&2
Rescuers Down Under
Fantasia
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Monster's Inc
The Lady & the Tramp
101 Dalmatians
Oliver & Company
Winnie the Pooh
Mulan
Pirates of the Caribbean 1
TRON

TRON is probably one of my favorites. I can't decide though, too many good films by Walt.

Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

Mine would honestly have to be Disney Animation's last film: Bolt (followed by Tarzan). The funny thing is that I was initially very skeptical about it, given the studio's recent track record. But I went to go see the film on its opening weekend, and as animal lover, I was incredibly moved by it. It takes ideas from a number of other films(such as Homeward Bound, Toy Story, and The Truman Show), and yet it feels like its own. The characters are easily the best part about the movie, as they're some of the most endearing ones I've ever seen in film (animated or otherwise). Definitely one of my top 3 movies of all time.

My post was deleted for stating the truth.

My favourite Disney movie was Mulan because it had samurai in it. And a zig-zag kinda sword.

Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

Too many to choose from for me. So many are great, it's impossible for me to choose. I come from being raised off Disney so I have my reasons. But what I will do is pick some in particular I like.

For a good classic movie... It's have to be the Swiss Family Robinson. This has got to be one of the best classical Disney adventure movies ever. I mean, blowing up Pirates with Coconut grenades?! It's flippin' awesome.

Cartoon wise though.. Hmm. I'll pick the Lady and the Tramp. I liked this one a lot. It's got the famous spaghetti scene. It was one of the first Disney cartoon I saw too.

Anything from Pixar. Though Cars was their low point.

The Lion King was also good.

Re: Favourite Walt Disney Movie.

1. Inspector Gadget
2. The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
3. Bambi
4. The Return of Jafar
5. Kronk's New Groove

My top five and I love them all greatly. x3

Inspector Gadget because the movie was epic, had Matthew Broderick as Gadget himself, and because the movie was hilarious.

The Lion King II was the most beautiful and epic animated movie ever, imo. Kiara and Kovu somehow stood out as a Disney couple for me and Zira was much more evil than Scar. Scar killed Mufasa and took over as king, yes, but Zira wanted to conquer the Pridelands, kill Simba, kill Kiara, and turn her own son into a killer. Now THAT is evil. I also love the song "Love Will Find a Way" very muchly! It's one of the most beautiful Disney songs ever, imo. I know the whole thing by heart. ^^

Bambi was simply a cute movie, yet very emotional. I was sad to see Bambi lose his mother, but then things got better and better. BambixFaline, the forest fire, Bambi battling with that other male deer, and more. It was cute and emotional. :3

The Return of Jafar was the best of the Aladdin trilogy, imo. One of my favorite Aladdin characters, Iago, went from lowly and hated to the movie's hero. Plus the movie was quite funny and Abusmal (sp?) was such a moron. XD

And there's only one word that really describes Kronk's New Groove: HILARIOUS. Holy cow I can't believe how much I laughed when I first saw this. Plus Kronk is my favorite character out of both this and the Emperor's New Groove. He was just awesome lol.

EDIT: Oh yeah and some honorable mentions would be:

102 Dalmatians
Monsters Inc.
The Sword in the Stone
Fantasia
The Emperor's New Groove
Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Aladdin
The Lion King

The Toy Story series come first. Damn I love those animation series. <3

And favourite cartoon from Walt Disney would be the Lion King. I was epic when it came out and it still is.

I love Aladdin. The music, the characters, the story, etc. Jaffar is one bad ass mother****er and Robin Williams as Genie was awesome as well. The Lion King is a close second.
